I tried this Chinaman game out since it's on gamepass but holy frick does it have shitty technical problems. Every match fricks up inputs non stop or the game freezes for a good second or two. Why is it so popular on steam?

>playing a game made by a chinaman
I don't have problems on SX. the game is fun
I've been hearing the same shit from others. That's why I'm curious if there's some stupid setting or .ini file I need to frick with.
>the game is fun
typical xbox fan everyone.
>Why is it so popular on steam?
Very good game, especially when you git gud.
>technical problems
Xbox or PC?
PC. Through gamepass shit.
You using a SSD? I don't have any issues with input or freezing. Occasional frame drops are normal though. There's also a heapsize launch option but no idea if that can be done for gamepass version.
I put it on my ssd but the game still b***hes at me every time I turn it on to put it on one. The game seems pretty cool and probably the closest I'll get to anarchy reigns.
>game still b***hes at me every time I turn it on to put it on one
If the game is telling you it's not on SSD, then something probably fricked up with the install. You need to make absolutely sure that it's on SSD.
I guess I'll reinstall and give it another go. I like the game and want to like the game but the input dropping and freezing is gonna make me kill myself.
Also the game does have some jank for sure. Like for instance when I do air combos the right click will sometimes go straight down and others will fricking yeet me 20 meters to track the training bot.

From a neutral aerial position, rmb always does a downward slash, it's not random. In general, doing cool shit in the air takes many hours of practice to get down timings and muscle memory. This is on top of basic stuff like being comfortable focus dashing smoothly.
I know it's a downward attack. I mean sometimes my character will essentially slide horizontally through the air to track an enemy far away and other times it doesn't do that at all and just goes straight down whiffing.

Dunno, I'd have to actually see this to know what you're talking about. There is melee aim assist though that will gravitate you towards nearby enemies.
This vid is almost a year old so I don't know if this exact combo works anymore but it has what I'm talking about.
You see how after he does the uppercut into left click he kinda glides in the air with the right click? Sometimes my character does that and other times it just goes straight down without tracking the enemy. It's like he's magnetized to them.
Try holding down w before or after the uppercut, throughout the lmb and rmb. Pretty sure that's consistent but I'd need to test myself.
I won the first game I played on this. Being a mediocre player at best I assume it was bots like fortnite to make players not quit straight away.
Yeah it's bots for a few games straight. You'll know when you have real players because they're probably gonna kill you.
>NetEase
>Why is it so popular on steam?
Because you are not the target audience
Bought this, played one game where it was obviously dumb bots, then waited in que for 20 minutes, closed then refunded.
Being battle royale kills it for me.
Also, PvP is all about jump spasming away through rooftops/trees when you're under 80% then coming back.
For me, it's getting light spammed because your dodge doesn't work or your character not sprinting because the game has like 0 fricking input buffer. Or parries completely whiffing on blue attacks. Or the game having no animation for when you get combo'd so your character just stands there making you think you can do something but you can't.
