the anime and sometimes the games too portrayed them as more intelligent than monsters or simple tamable creatures. The dpp games even said they were once the same as humans. I always thought they were somewhere between animals and humans, they can understand and feel, but not come up with their own stuff.
That's why I never thought the mons in pmd were different from mainline ones, since you just perceive the world from their view now, and the interactions with other mons are still quiet simple.
They should bring back Arata Iiyoshi for music and sound effects, no clue why they got rid of him after Time and Darkness and the sound effects in the 3DS games and RTDX are shit
I’d be happy with a new entry or an Explorers remake; but I don’t think we’re getting one this year because they’ve been making the new Shiren. I’d love to be wrong though.
There’s things people dislike about both but neither one is outright bad. >GTI prioritized Unova mons, and the slow text speed made cutscenes unbearable. It was also very easy with basically no postgame >Super takes WAY too long for the narrative to kick into gear, and the slow beginning turns off a lot of players. Also, a game about recruiting all the Pokémon implements Thracia’s fatigue mechanic so you can’t always run the team you want to run
That said I’d still recommend both of them - they’re not bad, just not as good as the others.
GTI had terrible text speed, removed hunger and culled more than half of the existing Pokémon ("can't use charizard? le bad game!!"), but it has the second best story from the PMD games, Paradise is the Pokémon Animal Crossing we never got, and the multiplayer mode is rough yet incredibly fun if you're first experiencing the game with a friend
You can't just spam le win button.
You actually have to worry about item management, dungeon preparation, placement, health management, weather, terrain and AP preservation.
Good news! You're getting another remake, eat it up you little bawd.
Are pokemon better as wild tameable creatures or as anthropomorphized talking creatures
Personally I like both and the PMD games (except for the switch remake) are awesome

I would enjoy one also, but just like the main games, its the same shit, just different means.
Thinly veiled furry thread.
>Thinly
Implying there are any thin pokemon fans
Younger male protagonist + Older female partner
Sir you are on /vp/
>Younger male protagonist + Older female partner
so needs to happen in the next game.
No.
Frick off furry.
>Likes PMD
>thinks he’s not a furry
This is exactly what's wrong with you people. People can enjoy a good story without wanting to frick a dog.
Nice image
I only want one if I can make Skitty my partner. She is my treasure.

Weren't the gen 5 and 6 ones pretty bad?

one where there's 30 minute long extremely detailed sex scenes with your partner after every job
I have never heard anyone explain why these games are good, gameplay wise.
It's basically like Persona for babies and with Pokemon's battle system
