i really wanted this game to be good, they started with such a fun selection of characters. it took me a while to accept that they werent actually trying to improve it.

The current rune system is much better than this.
Runes and masteries should have been removed from the start, keystones unironically made the game even worse.
The only reason I never played LoL was because of the rune/mastery shit. Like you are picking your hero and then you don't have runes/mastery for it and have like 10 seconds to set it all up.
It's beyond moronic.
Yeah and back when I was playing you could only have two saved at one time without buying more loadouts, so you just have one for AP/AD. So you had to prepare in advance which hero you were gonna play, but then that hero gets banned so you have 2 minutes to make a whole new rune page and then you forget to save it and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Mained Sona at the time and opening a fight with Q followed by a Q and passive powered crit auto attack was just the spiciest shit, Forced them to either frick off and let my carry farm or risk dying.

It was funny seeing a Tryndamere going with full crit runes at level one and either raping the enemy with only 3 hits or losing the entire lane because RNG raped him.
The new runes are better in a way that you don't need to grind IP/Blue essence but I wish top wasn't all about.
