Use a leveling map or make friends who havn't played the game either. I'd argue you're missing out on the experience by not leveling up the long way but it don't really matter.

You can use leveling maps in kf1 as well. The time it takes to level in 1 should also factor into clearing all the base maps and such. It really does not take 100 hours to get 6 on all classes. And even if it does, it's still you playing the game.
I havent played KF1 in years but KF1 leveling maps were still normal maps just smaller so you killed stuff faster. KF2 leveling maps are zeds instaspawning in a closed room at 100x the normal rate and players throwing infinitely restocking grenades down into that room
KF1 maps needed to be sanctioned by tripwire to give XP while in KF2 they dont give a frick
Even years ago kf1 leveling maps are actual leveling maps. You throw 1 nade and level to 6. You can also pick certain base maps that are better for farming I guess. But there have always been ways around what tripwire "allows". The game is heavily moddable, which is why it still gets V& on saturdays.

Earth Defense Force blows away vermintide and darktide and doesn't have gay cosmetic shops and other modern garbage, worst that can be said is that you rarely need to grind.
Left 4 dead 2 is still one of the best too
EDF is great but it's still jank as frick despite them releasing the same game over and over. And you do have cosmetics, they're just called DLC of which there is plenty of.

WWZ is basically upgraded l4d.
I prefer VT2 and Darktide.

I refunded STE. I couldn't get Epic Online Services to run despite uninstalling and reinstalling it directly from EGS or the game's local directory. Funny how I could log into my account and see my friends list in game as well.
