I was recommended Soul Sacrifice but wanted to hear some other opinions about it. How is it?
I don't own a Vita, how is Vita emulation nowadays? Or does it have an obscure port I overlooked?

It's very good. Play Delta, though. Hopefully it gets re-released on Switch or something.
It's kinda like monster hunter, sorta. Except you fight demons from a demon book that talks to you
Pretty good, the localization changed many names wich made the lore somewhat meaningless so try to get the jp voice dlc if you can
It's more like God Eater
Best vita game hands down.
Cool story and fun to play. The cooperative elements feel more satisfying than in other "hunting" games
My friend's dad has had to work through xmas since the 80's. As far as i know, he was never home christmas day
Is Vita3KHD good and easy to run?
Last I checked Soul Sacrifice didn't run on that yet. Just checked again, and apparently it does now!
Will probavly check it out soon.
It's okay, much less enjoyable with the servers down though. If you have someone you know that also has a vita it's great.
But I'm not sure how vita mp works via emulators. If it does, definitely try, otherwise ehh.
You lose out on a fair bit without it, but it's still playable. I'd say freedom wars over soul sacrifice for solo play.
I'm not as much a fan of the gameplay as other hunting games, but the story is kino. Also one of the best english dubs out there.
>How is it?
legitimately one of the greatest games ever
>how is Vita emulation nowadays?
I've seen snails run miles faster than vita emulation. Check back in 10 years
It needs a remaster but Sony disowned anything from their japanese studios.
>how is Vita emulation nowadays
Looks like its finally picking up. Just started Shinobido 2. Sadly Adventures of Mana crashes too much to play yet.
A fantastic story with some of the best lore I've ever read. Every boss has a story book-like backstory that explains how they got that way. My favorite is Odin. Fricker didn't have enough space in his brain to memorize stuff, so what does he do? Turns his horse into a brain and stuffs knowledge into him too. I genuinely can't believe how something like that just gets left to rot, forgotten on the vita.
Soul Sacrifice works on V3K but the graphics and performance are too messed up to feasibly play it
>mfw sortiara
>sortiara
you mean Nimue
yes
why did they change their names
troonylators hating arturian literature and forgoing the inspirations the original author intended. That or someone got a stroke during localization.
It's got a cool story and presentation. The game ends up just being a spammy MH clone like God Eater
Not that great but if you really want to play it, play Delta. It was one of the first in a series of attempts to make a MH clone for the Vita so people got caught up in the moment and hyped it up more than it deserved.
It was neat, the first game unbalanced with glass cannon builds and homing arrows/projectiles spells.
With the upgraded version now it was mostly blood builds or whatever you fancied by reseting levels to get special sigils (your equipment besides the spell items you use as sacrifice to cast cool shit).
The monsters were reskins but felt unique as each one had their very own origin story with development and stuff. Main story was just ok, side characters and late main stories can hit you hard. Specially the endings regardless if you play the vanilla or Delta version (different ones you can access by certain methods I won't spoil). Lore and world-building was pretty good too, really liked it.
Will always be happy I got her fig
Are you a monster hunter?
Sorry pal no one has made games as good and crapcom stopped making them too.
Just look how terrible world was.
I'm playing through it right now on my Vita, not too far in though. So far it's pretty damn cool. The depth of customization is neato and the story is cool grimdark shit
dub is pretty good too. I could tell it would be from the moment Magussar spoke and I recognized it as fricking Alvis from Xenoblade
also Carnatux is cool
>SOME PEOPLE SAY MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING
>WELL THEY'RE WRONG
Ugly fat bastard is always the best character.
Ive got a vita, tell me how it feels to play physically. ACLR and Freedom Wars aren't comfortable when playing a lot.
haven't touched ACLR but I've done a bit of freedom wars and I'd say this has a bit less mashing (to me at least because when I played FW I used the chainsword and just constantly cut shit up)
some controls use the touchscreen which can be a little awkward at times
Action games in general are awful on the Vita for some hands. I had to buy grips and even still, the vita hurts like hell to play action games. I love my Vita but goddamn that b***h will murder your hands.
Yeah trying to do the proper movments in ACLR, especially with that tiny ass lock box was hell. I almost massively fricked some shit up at my old job due to hand cramps.
yeah if I play with my Vita too long eventually my pinky goes numb which I know is a sign of something worse
Probably just early stages arthritis like the other anons mention. Everyone gets it eventually as they get older, poor circulation and zero movement is what probably contributes to it more though. It starts off in small locations then over time as you get older gets worse and spreads your other fingers, hands, arm, elbow, etc. There's probably come medication, brace, diet, or exercise that can help but I never been too assed to look it up.
too much reskins, wasn't that great, I didn't play delta tho
I preferred monster hunter, toukiden and god eater 3
best game on the vita, absolutely kino story
like other anons said, go with delta as it improves on the original in almost every way
Soul Sacrifice Delta is kino.
