gameplay wise or style?
Experimentation and innovation are dead in the modern world

Get ready for a ride
My bro, thank you for the recs
The dev has an earlier game too, that is even more like lsd
What was it?
Both games are worth playing if you'd like to take a trip
It’s not like lsd per se, because when you do lsd it’s absolutely nothing like that, but you can say it has the lsd style of colourful surrealism.
Honestly, when you do LSD it makes you feel like Gandalf walking around in the Alice in Wonderland version of where you are at right now , while you commune with several spirits in the spirit world when you manage to get into the correct trance like state (otherworld immersion happens when it’s a mixed of closed eye visuals and you staring at something for a long time to get you into a trance like state, your eyes naturally close and then you get sent into the world of shapes and tunnels full of spirits, there is no ceiling or sky or anything like that, no trees, just pure hyperspace, or you can just take a very high dose and you can get there without trying). Taking lsd and walking around feels like you took a time machine back to the 60s.
Ie; something along those vibe. You are taken from place to place, not out of your own violation, being shown lots of weird shapes etc.
You've never done LSD. It's just endless retarded thought loops that feel groundbreaking during the trip along with distorted visuals. Boring as hell.
You must have done a shitty low dose, + I am a spiritual person so that was my experience
Lsd is far more powerful than just ‘distorted visuals’, I remember a semi-invisible guy popping out of the corner of my house and giving me a geometric 4d shape and shadow people sticking out of windows while walking buy on lower doses, heck I was looking at the floor, saw a portal into the other world and a 3D generated eye popped out of the ground like some augmented reality shit.
The thoughts should make you feel like completely different person, like you are skipping through several different egos until you get to a point you reach ego death (at higher doses, lower it’s just different egos), the thoughts I have had during lsd haves enlightened me and really helped me.
At the very least you should be able to see stuff made out of light on the walls, or fully realised hallucinations while looking at mirrors, if not you just achieved something that’s just above a micro dose.
Do higher doses
what are some nice modern PSOne-graphic games that are actually good?
I don't know but I want to know
I have an idea for something like this along with an accompanying soundtrack since I also do music.
i hope b3313 1.0 keeps the surrealism/dreaminess
hold out for dream bbq friend
Try #21: The World if you haven't already.
Neko Yume is pretty blatantly inspired by LSD sim.
adding to this with Isle of Pan
can't really be bothered converting my other videos to webms so here you guys go
wow its such a shallow ripoff
all the comments praising it as art should be beheaded
maybe a bit harsh anon
What? Artsy "trippy" walking simulators but IT'S OK WHEN JAPAN DOES IT? Fucking weebs you're all cancer. LSD is garbage.
It is ok when japan does.
Fuck off Amerimutt, drink your gallon of cheese whiz and get a heart attack
Not American, go play your walking simulator "games" without any gameplay you pseud weeb gay.
I like western ones too. Walking simulators are nice. I like them. I enjoy them.
Try this one:
Or this one:
Or this one:
(More than a walking sim btw)
trying too hard
it was a dream simulator chud
Because the dude created something completely new, used his skill as a graphic designer to make something visually interesting, and used cutting-edge technology at the time to experiment with the visual art.
You need some more training in the old art of shitposting

Wasn't this game being remade in Unity? Whatever happened to that project?
Hypnagogic boundless dreams isn't too bad
Too much dialogue completely ruins the mystery and atmosphere of it. Plot is way too unsubtle. It's LSD dream emulator for Undertale kiddies
LSD is a legitimately terrible game that's only popular because it has a naughty name and that it's weird it even got published
There are like a gazillion indie games like it
LSD was a bit too raw for me. But I do like the idea quite a bit. Ultimately I did satisfy myself with Yume Nikki. I do wish they made a more refined version of LSD.
Anyone here remember that oldfag Xenon? He made a walking sim little art thing a decade ago. Not really worth the price especially nowadays but hey I had a bit of fun exploring it when it came out
I just played a short one called Fatum Betula the other day, not bad for the three bucks I spent on it. The Autumn forest reminded me of Tenchu 2 more than LSD. https://youtu.be/PhC5sQE8s5w
That trailer WAS fun, anon, thanks.
Check out 0 degrees north 0 degrees west
I can't find a link for pattern circus though...
I have a few infographics I collected on these kinds of games. There's some interesting stuff there.
>includes Eastern Mind
Also anything with user-generated environments is bound to have a lot of shit like this, not just worlds.com. For instance, if you search wide enough in VRChat you can find very similar oddities.
And other one.
And the Russian ones. Even if you can't read the text, you have the titles and an image. I'm not sure if there's supposed to be an order to them...
No, these seem to be completely disconnected games
I could translate the descriptions, but I suspect this is by itself a translation of an English pic
People have been making Yume Nikki clones for like 20 years dude
LSD reddit emulator
make your own fag
Isnt it fucked up how the mind can make up this shit while we sleep?
Then you're in for a treat, hop aboard the ENA train and watch the web series before the game comes out this year https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLurAhsqXWc
Disillusion on Steam is pretty neat. The dev is currently working on a sequel as well.
PAGAN: Autogeney is what you're looking for
