I wish we had a "Wind type" instead of Flying type.

I wish we had a "Wind type" instead of Flying type. Making it so air manipulation is tied to being a bird while simultaneously having it where being a bird isn't enough to be mono-Flying type is weird.
I wish we had more cool air elemental outside of Tornadus and maybe Castform

Rookidee and Corvisquire have no right to be pure flying

FPBP. Makes sense for Tornadus to be pure Flying, not so for Rookidee and Corvisquire.
Even if it doesn't matter much, the same goes for which ones have Flying in Type 1 or Type 2.

Would it resist or be immune to fire

That might have happened if GF stuck with Bird-type in Gen 1. Either that or we'd get weird shit like bugs and bats and owls being Bird-type.

      >implying owls are birds
GF would never be that moronic... right bros?

Nah, I like flying always being tied to another type. Makes the type more interesting.
I see it as the opposite of normal. Normal should ALWAYS be mono type, and flying NEVER should be

      What about Pidgey then?

Okay, retype every single Normal/Flying Pokémon then.

        Normal flying the one exception

        >t. Thinks normal means "typeless"

It should. Otherwise it's not normal

why would flying be acceptable, but not Normal/Fighting?

Flying shouldn't even have been a type, it should have been a tag like levitate was.

Lots of flying types aren't birds THOUGH

Why are so many birds Normal / Flying instead of just Flying? To buff Fighting?

No just autistic obsession to keep things the same on game freaks part

If we take the "wind" away from flying type, what else does it have? Removing the core identity of a type just to add another very similar type seems fricking moronic

of course it seems fricking moronic when you don't read it correctly

Would be cool if Dragons were super effective against wind type
