I would have been fine with Blizzard adding black humans into WoW if it actually had a lore explanation. Instead of turning half the human population black overnight, and saying that "they were always PoC :)", they could have made a black kingdom somewhere as part of a patch or maybe a republic in the South Seas, and have all the black humans come from there. Blizzard just randomly lazily turning half the humans into blacks is extremely lazy and hurts the consistency and health of the lore, and it really goes to show how Blizzard doesn't care about the world and lore at all, beyond making raid bosses for the next tier.
The Elder Scrolls has Redguards, for example, and they're a good part of the game's lore. They have their own lore and origins, and their own homeland where they come from. Imagine if instead of that, Bethesda just made it so that some Nords, Imperials or Bretons are just black for no reason at all. That's what Blizzard is doing.

kinda hard to ignore tho. It feels extremely pushed everywhere you look. There's always been diversity in media, especially in the 80's and 90's and no one ever said shit and everything was pretty enjoyable. It wasn't a checklist of ethnicity everywhere so it felt organic. Everything these woke weirdos do now is just fake, gay and forced. And it just dillutes everything and makes it seem out of place.

There were black humans in WoW since it came out, the customization choices for it were just sparse. There were even black Vrykuls in WotLK.

That's not black. That's jus a really tanned white man. Old people tend to turn black very easily. For example, my grandmother, who is 100% Swedish, had her skin gradually turn brown as she aged.

I don't hate black people. I hate that characters that have been white for 20 years suddenly become black. I hate how the developers act like 50% of the population was always black, even though this was never the case.
The Stormwind coat of arms is a lion when canonically they are native to Kalimdor and had not been discovered yet. The lore never made sense.

Euopean lions, different to African lions and Barbary lions, are prehistory. The existence of such lions couldn't have been passed down through Finnic oral tradition.
