Dishonored 1/2 is far superior to HR/MD
1 is meh, 2 is really good Thief game if you set it up right. Neither really is Deus Ex though. MD is probably the best Deus Ex in terms of mechanics and level design.

I finished HR as stealthy-pacifist boy still mad you could not get around bosses, did director's cut fix that? so this padded game length for me. I don't have the patience for that anymore so I went guns blazing in MD, you get through game much faster when you aren't crawling through the vents. I played maybe 8 hours in total of that.
Director's cut indeed fixed that but they still aren't great boss fights.
You still have to fight but there's some turrets and other gimmicks.
The game is excellent, a lot better than Human Revolution.
It doesn't have James Bond globetrotting or a conclusive plot arc but it's excellent none the same.
Maybe I should try playing it again and THEN after I finish it I'll get mad no sequel will ever come out. Sounds like a great plan.
The prison DLC ends the game on a satisfying enough note.
If I didn't like HR's dlc what are the odds I'll like MK's dlc you think? Never bothered with it since I found hr's dlc to be a overly long slog that totally fricked up the pacing of the main game.

Adam wasn’t supposed to be so heavily modified. He just needed a few limb and organ replacements and he would’ve been fine. What fricks him up is how they tore out shit that was still working perfectly fine, because his boss saw him as the perfect opportunity to test their dangerous and experimental shit.
It’s actually worse than that. According to the LIMB Clinic, Adam only needed one new arm, and some replacement organs.
