Nice. Want to tell the class what color the sky is next?

Stray was promoted heavily by Sony and was a huge success. Microsoft stealth dropped a game nobody knew about it and it came and went as a blip. Under either Nintendo or Sony this game would have had the larger impact it deserved. Basically what OP is saying is that Microsoft sucks major donkey dick and should leave the gaming industry immediately.

Stray may have sold well but it never gets talked about anymore. I still see people bringing up Hi-Fi Rush all the time.

          >It never gets talked about anymore
We're talking about it now, and that's also not the point. The point is Hi Fi Rush would have been a major success under the other big two. Under Microsoft it died like a wet farm. It's indicative of how fricking worthless MS is in gaming.

Yeah just like A.R.M.S. and Astral Chain and Project Steam, because those weren't horrible flops

Astral Chain sold well enough for Nintendo to buy the ip from Platinum

STEAM is the only one of those that could possibly be called a flop. which is a huge shame because it's the best game of the three.

Both ARMS and Astral Chain sold well, specially ARMS since its budget was most likely a cup of coffee and a bagel.

I seriously doubt they gave Yabuki a bagel. ARMS was probably made for the price of a single cup of coffee, that Yabuki himself brought from home.

Do we want to make a list of games that probably would have been more successful if they were made by Nintendo?

One of the worst sequels in recent history. It was basically a new IP with the changes they made.

Nta but why? Haven’t played either game yet but I’m planning to. I thought most fans liked Will of the Wisps.

The original was good and was easily the starting point for a new Microsoft IP.
Ori and the blind forest sold slightly more than Hi-Fi rush with the difference that it was actually advertised by Microsoft and yet it barely sold over 1 million copies initially.

This Ori sequel wasn't even supposed to be made and the studios already wanted to move on. But it was probably taken as an opportunity to prove the power of the studios and give an actual end to the franchise while they also gave more time in the oven for their next IP.

Ori and the blind forest was just made by a small studios that needed more trust and this sequel just exposed how very few actually believed in it.

Both Ori games are better nintendo games than anything they've released during the past decade

so what DMC5 is even shorter and has very little content.
at least hifi rush has post game content rather than just "lol you're meant to replay the game 5 more times on different difficulties because we didn't make other content"

Rent free, and laughably wrong. Not only is DMC5 longer a single character from DMC5 has more than twice the moveset variety and depth as Chai. And there are four different characters.

nice try a lot of that time is soaked up by navigating the slow menus with multiple loading screens for fricking everything, wasting time with Arm shopping and the awful V missions which even have a forced walking segment.
