You only need to do the grinding once, and you can get perks like top scholar and the 25 int perk to reduced that shit to half plus there are accessories that help each skill to be grinded faster as well as starting perks
where can i find the acccessories?
i only have one for fishing, cooking and animal taming
Their all in the epic tier and says how to get them, once you maxed a skill do any ending which has a red stamp for it to be saved for future playthroughs

This is the only acc I've ever used on all 3 of my playthroughs, even on a 1600 difficulty run. It will take a bit of time leveling up crafting to make it, but I haven't found anything that comes close to it
Have top scholar and 25 int perk, learn tool crafting from all the grocery shops, learn the legendary tools from the peddler at the starting village after buying x5 of a tool, and just spam craft them to max it out, the player housing is great for farming mats
Also I have 6 of those in my treasure room as you can dupe items when you save in the treasure room, quicksave then place it onto the pedestal, quickloading will have the item still on the pedestal and in your inventory
Didn't know that works; shame party members are pretty much useless on nightmare and above. Combat stat should transfer from protag to them as well.
It's possible with the protagonist only internal that boosts party members stats called heart something at the start and the starting perks like the harem one that gives your stats to your wives
I imagine going lone wanderer + 100% uptime parry+crit+counter with the right setup is more efficient. More so if doing free runs where enemies inflict all status effects.
Yeah it's not as meta as going solo, you can't farm combat experience for them as much as a party as it forces a lot of 1v1 so you only get the exp

It is a masterpiece, but since it's a chink game people will pass on it thinking it's lacking depth and quality. I have no simpathy for jrpg gays who let shit like this slide under their radar in favour of shallow anime breasts.
I was surprised how much fun I had with it, and I'm glad the devs didn't abandon it with 1.0 (animal mansion coming soon, plus desert area - hopefully they add Dragonfly city too).

On nightmare and below, speed is king. Throw in gambler god trait + qi depleting throwables + qi depleting externals/weapons (bonus if the weapon/external also has unconscious on it), and you'll stunlock pretty much anything.
On Free 1200+, enemies will almost always outspeed you, so at that point tanky talents are better.

Yes. Which is even worse if you go the music route, where all skills deal damage on the MP difference, and then you find out having high INT lowers max MP.
Why does INT lower MP anyway?
Is there any way to change my base stats? I have way too much INT as a guqin player. It's eating away at my MP
Nope, you're stuck with the base stats. Forgotten pills only remove the points from levelups. Unless you are ok with restarting, savescum at the night market auction and buy lingzi mushrooms (+50 MP) every night (costs about 10g)
I could have gotten all my stats to 25 if I didn't rush to recruit medic sect leader and ate bugs, but next playthrough then

It's an easter egg, you most likely won't even get to access that area on your first playthrough.

Just looking at these stats screens I guess I should be wary of this game or it'll suck me right in, I'm precisely the kind of autist who likes increasing stats and getting all the perks and other such bullshit.
Be prepared to play a lot of it then. You only get bonus points to spend on stats and perks by unlocking achievements (and there's like 150 of them).

it's great, it'll probably take you about a hundred hours to get most of them and use a guide for the rest, I had to suffer and do new playthroughs when they add new achievements in
You're supposed to lose and "reincarnate" as a stronger man. I went blind in, on nightmare difficulty, and I died to so much bullshit that it felt rewarding knowing how to handle the situation the next time.
You can reload, but I think it's best played as ironman, where each death means a new playthrough; depends on your time/patience.
All you need is CON.
For me it's unga bunga with STR and thunder.
How the hell do you guys grind the crafting skills
I can't find any blueprints anywhere

some of the recipes are found in locked chest
the cooking stuff can be found on people which can be stolen/traded
weapon crafting is slanted to swords with a legendary knife and fist
armor crafting is given for free at the start and one steal/traded with and one is found in a prison, and the legendaries are in the Taoist tower, and goddess shrine (5 orbs)
medicine crafting can be found on doctors traded and the Taoist sect
poison crafting is in jiuli tribe sect leader, steal/traded with and one dropped at the boss fight
you can only join one but you can just quit and join another one whenever excluding the old man's sect up until a certain point in his quest and in addition you can join the army or the invaders
Can you join multiple factions? Or is it a one and done deal
Big sects, you can only join one, but can leave them at any time (without being able to rejoin or use their facilities anymore). I think the nest of swallows require you to pay 50g as well.
But on top of those, you can also join the Ye army (and I imagine Yun too, haven't done a playthrough for them yet).
You can join almost all of them but you have to either kill your previous sect or complete their main quest to be allowed to leave. You will become stupidly strong will all sect perks. Especially with the golden body and Buddhist and Taoist enlightenment.
