well yeah its a good deal, but if S/V is the better game id rather pay full price for that. i honestly havent been into pokemon for a good while so i dont know the answer to that question
Scarlet/Violet are the better games (not like the bar is very high) and their online is probably more active. Sword/Shield is worth playing for that price though I guess.
I'd recommend Legends over either of them though
going to get into that eventually as well but i was feeling something more contemporary at the moment even if the older games are much better for that
>if S/V is the better game
It really isn't. You'd be paying triple the price for a game that's equally dogshit to play and looks uglier than Golden Eye on N64.
>instead of linear slop with at least semi interesting characters you get open world slop with worse characters and a worse story where you have to farm fricking materials to craft single use TMs
Who thought that was a good idea?
>characters
Who gives a shit?
The advantage of SV is that it makes IV breeding irrelevant with how easy it is to hyper train and how easy it is to shiny hunt.

Bear in mind /vp/, and basically everyone in Ganker who plays Pokemon. is all casual shitters who fricking suck at Pokemon and just want "hecking wholesome adventures with my hecking adorable team of shitmons" and will get mad if they can't beat the Champion with their shitty Butterfree and Pikachu clone.
Like this guy
Because the newer generation sucks? That’s a stupid question.
saying that the newer generation sucks when SWSH is almost Gen 2 tier in how most of it is nothing but useless Pokemon aside from Dragapult.

But you can, it's not even a challenge.
I used fricking Clefable and Dodrio as my aces in fire red.

Yes, that's what I mean.
Even the Pokemon SV made people seethe here because double battles where the enemy has items "isn't what Pokemon is about".
People like to talk in extremes on the internet because they can't think for themselves so you'll never get a good answer.
The games aren't good but they'll both scratch your Pokemon itch so just buy the cheapest
the best answer, tho SWSha nd SV scratch a different kind of itch imho. visually swsh is more appealing and you have better interactions with your mons at camp, if you like sports too it's thepokemon for you. plus better postgame if that's up your alley
SV really scratched that exploration itch for me also more QoL changes great pokemon, variety (swsh too, but it's tied to weather changes in wild area) if you want to feel like going through an adventure take SV. great endgame but the post game is lackluster once you have completed the pokedex, so far it's just competitive and raids
Scarlet/Violet are the better games (not like the bar is very high) and their online is probably more active. Sword/Shield is worth playing for that price though I guess.
I'd recommend Legends over either of them though
>Don't try the competitive game either, Urshifu will rape (Unseen Fist) you to death even if you wear a condom (Protect).
Won't the dlc provide one of the bears to use?
Of course it's worth $30 OP
If it's the copy in the image then yeah it's worth it even more
Those copies with DLC included are much rarer and probably will cost a lot once Switch ends
SV is one of the shittiest games ever made in history too so don't get that unless you want to play sonic 06 except not even so bad it's good or funny it just makes you suicidal
Neither SWSH or SV are worth it, even if they're free.
You're better off spending the $30 on LGPE, PLA, or even BDSP if you're that desperate. The spin-offs are better options if you're willing to go there instead.
If it's just $30 for all of it? Shit man, go ahead that's basically the game for free.
well yeah its a good deal, but if S/V is the better game id rather pay full price for that. i honestly havent been into pokemon for a good while so i dont know the answer to that question

ScatVomit is better than SwoShit but both are trash games. He shouldn't even pirate them because they are shit.
>instead of linear slop with at least semi interesting characters you get open world slop with worse characters and a worse story where you have to farm fricking materials to craft single use TMs
Who thought that was a good idea?
I wasn't saying ScatVomit were good, I was only saying SwoShit were worse.
>characters

*Pokemon SV DLC
>with at least semi interesting
On what planet are the SS characters interesting? They're all one dimensional as frick
On this one, only Iono has some fricking semblance of humanity in SV.
Well her and Sada who's not even a human.
>he hasn't played SV
That explains it.
Worthless "defense".
You're saying that like you'd even understand. Hell you didn't even make an argument against that anon's post.
He hasn't made one. So what am I supposed to imagine his argument and argue with that?
No shit, he gave a statement, you're supposed to argue against that.
>argue against nothing
Are you stupid?
SV is GOOD, while SwSH was lame.
Mwah, bait exquisite.
People like to talk in extremes on the internet because they can't think for themselves so you'll never get a good answer.

imho SV is the better game but swsh can be fun too, 30$ is really a good deal and you should consider it
Scarlet/Violet are the better games (not like the bar is very high) and their online is probably more active. Sword/Shield is worth playing for that price though I guess.

Nope, it is absolute garbage. The story is too easy but too linear and boring and the DLC adds absolutely nothing productive.
Don't try the competitive game either, Urshifu will rape (Unseen Fist) you to death even if you wear a condom (Protect).
Not worth any money, I don't even recommend pirating it. I don't hate myself enough to play SwoShit or ScatVomit.
>Don't try the competitive game either, Urshifu will rape (Unseen Fist) you to death even if you wear a condom (Protect).
Won't the dlc provide one of the bears to use?
in both SV and SwSh you can get the bear in the DLC.
yeah $30 ain't bad. can at least resell it for double that if you don't like it
Why would you ever buy the previous generation on the same console?
Because the newer generation sucks? That’s a stupid question.
SwSh is shit with the only redeeming parts being the DLC areas.
Not worth it.
SV is mid and the DLC is just more mid.
Of course it's worth $30 OP
If it's the copy in the image then yeah it's worth it even more
Those copies with DLC included are much rarer and probably will cost a lot once Switch ends
Not even worth getting paid money to pay it
SV is one of the shittiest games ever made in history too so don't get that unless you want to play sonic 06 except not even so bad it's good or funny it just makes you suicidal
>t. Didn't play it
SV is good, better than SwSh.
ScarViol isn't good, but it's better than SS.
I enjoyed it more than the last 3 gens. It's biggest flaws are the graphics and performance, which doesn't matter that much.
>the last 3 gens
Those weren't good either.
SM was ok
"Ok" isn't "good"
Neither SWSH or SV are worth it, even if they're free.

>LGPE over SV
No. Just no.
>LGPE
>BDSP
Troll post. Ignore.
when the FRICK is the new update coming out???
>ive never bought a switch pokemon game
you should keep it that way
