Salamanders do, yes, as a result of the Promethean Creed. One of the core tenets is that the Space Marines were made into weapons to safeguard humanity, as protectors and guardians, but also that they were ultimately meant to fight for a world in which they would no longer be needed.
This is, notably, sharply at odds with other Primarchs, and Horus seethed a lot at losing the Salamanders because he had found them very useful in particular assault roles (he had the same issue with Corax and the RG).
