can rom hacks trade between games without corrupting saves? I tested a rom hack with a legit LeafGreen copy and got into the union room but I was too afraid to trade Pokemon lest my LeafGreen save got destroyed.

4. I love Platinum and HeartGold, replayed them so much.

>Gens 2, 3, 6, 7, & presumably 9 give you 2 regions
>Gens 4 & 8 give access to 3 regions
>One of the 3 regions in 8 is the worst region (Galar) and an inferior version of a Gen 4 region (BDSP Sinnoh)

Does gen 3 include romhacks? Because that's an easy win if so. If not then I would probably just stop playing Pokémon, replaying one gen forever sounds like a chore
