Most of Bayo's moves in 2 are faster and enemies are even more aggressive and some legit have like 15 frame attacks
Granted Witch Time is mandatory, so the game can seem slower, but I did a challenge run with no WT a while back and the general speed and pace was substantially faster than 1

Bayonetta is only liked by contrarians who want to feel special for not playing games like DMC or God of War. DMC has half as many bad entires as it does “good” and was a tech demo for RE4. Ninja Gaiden is known exclusively for its shallow difficulty curve which compared to players now isnt anything special or compelling.

I've played them but it's not really my style of games in general. This is why i couldn't care about any of the games that have released since then. I'm not the biggest fan of action games or spectacle fighters in general. They're fun if you're looking to master them and tough when you play the highest difficulty, but they can't keep me engaged for that long.
