I got all StS achievements a while ago and I played every class to A20 (without the heart on A runs though, I don't care if that means I "didn't beat the game" to some).
Currently playing Vault of the Void and I'm having a good time.
>multiple stacks of wraith form >tungsten rod
lol
lmao
Despite how hilariously stacked my run was, I almost killed myself playing a piercing wail on a buff turn because I forgot. Had to survive a 9x12 hit without any intangibility, that was funny.
duel masters was actually created by some magic designers and they said it made the game less fun because there was less tension and games were more predictable
you could easily mod whatever you want and if its the greatest game of all time as you say put the mod in your resume and start working for valve or whoever
What are you just talking about an action roguelike because there are plenty of those. Otherwise what do you mean by taking a card game and turning it into an action one. I guess that one Kingdom Hearts spinoff did it to meh effect.
First one was random rare. The other was in a card reward against skip. Along with the hourglass the carried me through all 3 elites with like 5 damage taken. Turns out you can do a lot in 4 turns when you don't have to block at all.
It's two really heavy cards that don't end the fight so I'd argue against this logic. They also don't come with a free upgrade then so I'd be willing to take one from the boss but two seems unessecary.
Sure but you have to get there first and that early I think that works against you. Act 1 is already hard enough for Silent that I imagine that you just die from bricking a draw too often.
For the act 1 elites Wrath seems meh against Sentries, great on Nob if you get it turn 3, terrible otherwise and atleast 20 block vs Lag.
It also seems like it'd very much slow you down in Hexa and Slime.
The deeper into the run you get the more value I see in Wrath.

WF is perfect for Slime, it lets you eat the big hit to set a better a split. Turn 2 WF on Nob is ideal, if you get to turn 5 there's something wrong with your deck.
>struggle to beat the heart because I'm in love with 0 cost builds which are objectively mediocre >raw luck just so happens to give me 2 of the power that gives you lightning on damage and lightning on power use >say frick it and powermaxx+orb gen >get to the heart >10 damage every time I take a hit >the 4X12 attack hits the damage cap for the turn >kill him effortlessly
this game is moronic I love it
>it's another episode of wrath in the first hand and calm at the bottom of the deck
I hate this rerun
Time for a A10 Silent run.
Going decently so far. No AOE so it's time to eat shit in Act 2 though.
I just realized I forgot to turn it back to A10... I hadn't played in a while but I did think it was going too easily for A10.
RIP.

>its another get fricked by time eater as shiv build run
so tired.
>He doesn't have accuracy
It's kind of funny that I've played this so much I can watch someone playing this in Japanese and still follow along.
Welp. Maybe I'll try blitz playing speed.
Dumb slug dead.

Basic Lands are the second dumbest fricking mechanic is all of TCGs.
Duel Masters solved it fricking decades ago, and so many more TCGs have better resource systems - StS with Lands would be cancerous as frick.
Dumbest is no resource mechanic, get fricked YGO and your 1-turn "interactive" bullshit

>it would easily be the greatest game ever made
It already is.
The Silent is a free win no matter the Ascension level
Post your on going a20 silent run right now.
Anon what? Act 1 alone is a ball breaker for best girl.
It's fundementally a shitty game due to it being an RNG Progression game
>multiple stacks of wraith form

It would be shit because it's Magic.
For me, it'd be translating the game's mechanics into an action game. Think Risk of Rain 2.

Looks like an interesting run. Now if only I could find some FRICKING DISCARD
>4 mods
Colored maps?
Topple the Tower
basemod, filterthespire, relic stats, run history+
Nothing game-changing, except I set the filter to give me all options even if I die in act 1 because frick Neow starts.
Why the double Wrath Form in act one? Feels a bit heavy early, until you get that sweet Snek

Okay box, don't frick me now.

Wow this game's easy.
And this is the actually reason for the double Wraiths, because I'm going to box into Nightmare obviously.
You don't skip 2 wraith forms in act 1 unless you have zero damage output.
It's two really heavy cards that don't end the fight so I'd argue against this logic. They also don't come with a free upgrade then so I'd be willing to take one from the boss but two seems unessecary.
They don't end the fight but give you legs on elite fights all the way up to act 4, the value is immense.
Sure but you have to get there first and that early I think that works against you. Act 1 is already hard enough for Silent that I imagine that you just die from bricking a draw too often.

I had upgrades for both of them, and when you have 2, you can just pop them on sight and kill the nob with strikes.
Oh I thought the 2nd was the act reward, although how would it be upgrade then dummy.
Hell if it works it works, what's the deck looking like now.
>what's the deck looking like now.
plus
I need about 16 upgrades, a tactician and a calc gamble and I'm golden.
What is this game called again
Obliterate the Obelisk.
go make it then.
no but seriously why isnt there mtg singleplayer like the old gba yu-gi-oh games? that would be sick.
>Mash A while picking Wrist Blade
>Ended up with a couple more blades
>They all stack
Cool
Turns out Setup+ is a good card.
>struggle to beat the heart because I'm in love with 0 cost builds which are objectively mediocre
