You know, it's annoying that so many years have passed and From still struggles with improving issues they had since the beginning, things like Whips and Crossbows being generally underwhelming to the average player or infusing/buffing being locked out of certain weapons that are not powerful enough to deserve such downside, and with each release they don't really do much to actually improve upon it.

I didn't look at anything with AC6 but I wonder just how many assets in that game are from AC5. They could get away with it before because they were nobodies that made launch titles for the chinkstation, but when they became bigshots in the west everybody noticed something was off by DS1 (half the game not being finished) and DS2 made most people jump ship. AC6 has lots of new models and animations, it's the best thing about the game IMO. AC5 is too old and doesn't fit the new game. There's some models in the files that were likely for testing purposes but the game has so few parts (some of which are re-colours with the same model) because they wasted so much time on making new models and animations.

I tried to find a cool sword inside stormveil but there were none better than the starting sword, so I went to the starting area to go somewhere else and ended up inside a cave with silly reindeer men, it's kinda the same gameplay everywhere, except you kill "different" enemies, but seeing those places makes it worth it.

His HP was unnerfed but his hitbox and arrow tracking nerf remained, the first one has a major impact on how long summons last against him and the second changed the dynamic of the first phase, originally you had to get off your horse and dodge the charged snipe or he would have hit you no matter what you did and this killed countless morons that never adapted over and over.

In my first run I wanted to play a battle mage kinda character, I was hoping there was a weapon like the immolation tinder with which I could cast spells and hit with at the same time which there wasn't, but sorceries definitely feel my useful than ashes, so many enemies will go into a tirade of attacks against you, you can dodge it all but if you go back into to attack they will hit you but you can literally spam magic at them instead and they do frick all. Game feels like it wants you to use a ranged option to punish as much as using melee. Pure melee must be hell.

Why does intelligence get all the good stuff? I'm doing an arcane build now, because I thought it would be interesting to go for an unusual stat. But there's barely anything that takes advantage of arcane. I just found a halberd with B arcane scaling, but it requires more strength to wield than I currently have.
I swear at least 1/4th of my inventory is dedicated to int shit.

Yes, if I dump a ton of points into a single stat, then there should be a weapon that suits my high point count. Typical video game thing, right? You put a bunch of points into STR, and you find a 50 STR weapon with A scaling in STR and it's awesome. You put a bunch of points into FTH, and you find a 50 FTH spell with a seal with A FTH scaling and it's awesome. Etc, etc.
But with Arcane... well so far, I got the Reduvia with C scaling. Pretty nice weapon art though, and strong as far as daggers go. So it's probably the best Arcane dagger in the game.
But what about other weapons? I got this gay-ass clinging bone weapon with D scaling. A dragon communion scale with C scaling. I presume the scaling will increase as I level up the seal. But all the dragon spells take more faith than arcane to wield, so I have to split stats to make the most of it anyway. And then there's the halberd with B scaling, which looks promising. So I'll probably switch to it. Though, I don't think I can equip rivers of blood to it, so it might not be worth it anyway.
That's it, 4 arcane weapons so far. I'm still only exploring Liurnia. but still. Compare that to all the in stuff I found.
