>yo you wanna learn how to do a frickin infinite? Imma teach your motherfrickin b***h ass easiest shit in the motherfricking marvel three, marvel two, frick it, I don’t give a frick, iron man. Alright jump up in the air, hit up frickin heavy kick yeah and then it’s motherfrickin, LIGHT PUNCH, MEDIUM PUNCH, LIGHT KICK, HEAVY PUNCH. hold diagonal in whichever way you frickin going you only hit h frickin up motherfrickin heavy kick, you can’t do it on the ground motherfricker, that shit don’t work. Let’s start this motherfricker off right, ah, ow, ow, ow, dropped that shit. Redo it motherfricker, ah, ow, how’s it taste? Keep the rhythm up. If you frick up the rhythm, the motherfricking combo will drop motherfricker. Keep that motherfricking shit up, you keep that same motherfricking rhythm, if you drop this motherfricker then it will not be motherfricking cool. You can cancel it out into a motherfricking heavy punch ultra, but I ain’t gonna do that shit, ah. It drops after motherfricking fifty nine hits motherfricker, that shit’s crazy. Fifty four, fifty five. When you’re doing it in the corner, don’t hold straight diagonal, after motherfricking two to four hits it’ll drop, just like that.
The step up from SF2 to Darkstalkers and COTA was crazy, the artists really improved. Even with as amazing as SF3 is, the biggest improvement going into that was in frame count, the figure drawing quality and animation fundamentals were already nearly peaked.
>we will NEVER EVER get another Mahvel because MvC:I killed the franchise >can't even get a legacy collection because the ONE guy who would secure the rights for Capcom now works for Arcade1Up >the only legal collection in existence that can still be bought is one of Arcade1Up's cabinets >it costs $600 + tip for something that will take up space and only play a handful of games >when Capcom could easily sell the same collection for $60 and get a guaranteed million seller
I hate this timeline.
It's arguably greed on Disney's end, but more to do with the fact that the guy who used to make this shit happen no longer works for Capcom.
Arcade1Up was able to get the entire Capcom Marvel games on their machines because of a loophole of Free Play Arcade machines being treated as novelty "toys".
I learned this shit from Max Dood back when I still watched his videos.
Hopefully they will do a MvC Collection, also a Capcom Fighting Collection 2 for stuff like Star Gladiator, Rival Schools, Power Stone and Tech Romancer.
A MvC Collection is unlikely because Capcom probably doesn't want to pay whatever exorbitant price Disney would charge for the Marvel license, and would be compelled to make another new Mahvel before said license expired.
A follow-up collection featuring the 3D fighters would be a dream come true, but who knows how Capcom is feeling about that given how well or poorly the first one sold.
Shit man, I just want the CPS-2 library on modern consoles. And yes, I know that Fightcade exists. It's not the same.
I have to wonder what exactly their expectations for these collections are nowadays. The Beat Em Up Bundle didn't sell all that great either, but they didn't seem to consider it a failure.
Capcom really doesn't have much faith in anything that isn't Street Fighter, RE, or MonHun.
MM11 was their highest MM ever, yet still got put on a shelf without so much as DLC.
GnG Resurrection never even got a fricking physical print.
And a number of games get no NA printing for some stupid reason like the Beat' Em' Up bundle, Okami, the DMC trilogy, and some of the AA games.
It's stupid because Disney should be pushing for it to happen so they can have real easy promotion for their X-Men '99 show with the original cast of the old show and games.

>Infinite lives rent free in anon's head
That was announced 6 years ago. let go, bub.
And it's not like John D is the only guy in a company who can influence the direction of the series. If anything the success of all 9(?) MvC A1ups is a good sign.
Same bro. It's the fact that his head barely moves. He looks like when you hold a chicken and wave it around in the air and its head stays in the exact same spot.

This is the best Marvel characters ever looked

Capcom was the reason I ever gave a shit about Marvel in the first place.
In an alternate timeline, Capcom bought out Marvel instead of Disney.
We were very close to Michael Jackson buying Marvel before Disney did, and then he died. I guarantee MvC is alive and well in that timeline.
I know a Darkstalkers cabinet once turned up at an MJ estate auction, so he did seem to be into Capcom fighters.

First time I'm hearing of this. Also aren't some of the original VAs dead or retired? I know for a fact that the VA for Scott/Cyclops is dead.
X-Men '97*
And yeah there are some recasts. Rogue, Jubilee, and Wolverine made it back.
I don't want modern capcom making another mahvel

Good to hear, they had already been doing some pretty impressive stuff with MvC3 hacking. Hoping to see some awesome custom characters.
