Sure if you rush to the next cutscene as fast as possible like a moron and disregard everything else.

      >plays a movie game
      >WTF WHY IS THIS A MOVIE WHAT THE FRICK!?!?!???
      What did you expect OP?
JRPGs are movie games nowadays especially Xenoblade

      >filtered
good, stay out of my fanbase

Why is it that whenever western games have long cutscenes it's a dogshit movie game but when japan does it it gets a pass?

It took me about 250 hours to beat all the side quests

So really, yes it's cutscenes but there's gameplay too

Too bad the side quests are MMO tier and not worth doing at all

It's a Xeno game so it's really 80% cutscenes and 20% bad gameplay.
    Been that way since Gears.

    no that's XC3 and XC2

  9. 11 months ago

Depends if you want to do sidequests, but at that point this becomes an mmo.

have you ever played an rpg before anon? take my advice, drop that game, play XC2, and avoid XC3 at all costs. best way to enjoy the xeno series until you play the actually decent games (gears and saga)

      True. It's called Xenoblade 2.

      Who's telling the truth?
      OP here

2 is inspired by gachas so you should stay the hell away from that sort of gameplay.

im telling the truth about 2 being the only good game. xc1 is painfully generic and xc3 is just the most dumbed down game story and mechanics wise (money is literally useless)

people dont like 2 because its weird and anime esque but thats literally why its not bad like the other games

          >xc1 is painfully generic

Are you kidding? Xenoblade 2's so generic you'd think it was a parody mocking anime.
It's just predictable tropes cranked up to 11.

If you don't enjoy XB1, then the series isn't for you.
I wouldn't waste your time with the others.

also why is 2+3 cheaper than 1?
      wtf is this?

OP here. Don't get it. It's objectively shit. It's literally not a game. Why do people shill this fricking anime garbage?

Nobody forces you to play, and nobody cares if you hate it.

          what's so bad about it?

  15. 11 months ago
    Anonymous

It took me around 70 hours to beat ignoring most sidequests and apparently it has about 10 hours of cutscenes, so no

  16. 11 months ago
    Anonymous

No. There's just a lot at the start to set up the story.

The start and end are pretty cutscene-heavy, but it does ease up during the middle and let you explore a bit more. I'd say if you're still not enjoying things by the time you reach Gaur Plains, the game clearly isn't for you.
