It's not "convenient". It's just the actual mechanics of it all. How can you know the lore of a story prior to reading the story? The only possible method, is to read the spoilers from another source such as a wiki or a separately sold world book, or have a friend who experienced first explain the lore to you. It's actually impossible to know what the lore is before partaking in the story. Therefore, a part of you has to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy the story up to the point where the lore is explained to you.
You can't get around this. It's an objective physical mechanical truth.
Now, you can can argue that AFTER you suspended disbelief, you were LATER unable to maintain that suspension. And we can debate whether or not that's realistic of you. But you can't argue that you didn't suspend disbelief first, in order to enter the fantasy world from the beginning. Admit it. Admit you have to suspend disbelief in the beginning at the very least. If we can't get over that hurdle, then we can't even begin to address the other matters.

I did not play TLoU2, since I only play on PC. But I cleaned every of the first one on grounded difficulty and it was not easy at all. I was actually thrilled by the difficulty. I am anxious about the TLoU2 remaster for PC just for the gameplay on grounded, but I liked the plot twist on the first one.

I have slight interest in Sekiro but not enough to buy it and the story in Nioh 2 sucked and all the missions except a couple looked the damn same. The only playstation exclusive I have interest in is the original demon's souls, I dropped bloodborne because it just felt like more of the same with DS3 which was the worst souls game (still okay, but not as good as the others). Didn't want to keep borrowing it from a friend so I returned it rather than beating it.

Exactly, though MA2 online does have some deep team mechanic, to win a match, you really need to have a team were everyone know their roles. But yeah, overall, the gameplay isn't deep.
PC on the other hand, offer a lot of various features (drone supply (that you can chase or even kill to prevent others to get supply)), ammo management, mech customization, crowd control, choosing the right AI for fights etc.....
It's a very addictive game, and trying to survive in some of those arenas require a lot of skill, also, there is some "money" management too (since you need to pay for the reparations if you die, and some events need to be paid to access, so you could end up broke if you over estimate your mech/pilot capability.

No. Syndicate's Jack The Ripper was the first playable historical figure in the series.
I never played that dlc but it's a little different because nobody knows who jack the ripper is so you have more artistic license. Yusuke also wouldn't make for a very good assassin because he stands out although there hasn't really been any assassinating in an assassins creed game for a while. I stopped playing these after they became lame rpg lites.

I blame myself for comming to Ganker and event commenting. This will be another game that has 86 players 2 months after launch. the number of sales reported will be big but steam numbers will be mediocre for the first few days after which it will die. The studio will be closed. The culture war everyone wages will be lost again by the people, because everyone loses here but the money printers. The money printers get the destroy their political and biological enemies while pushing out a slop which only wastes time for everyone involved.

basically pre-ac3 era was like a cool sci-fi novel with an interesting premise with somewhat good history, think Timeline.

The dude basically has the exact same budget-James Bond personality in AC2 and Brotherhood, and then in Revelations his personality suddenly changes to that of a grumpy grandpa who keeps complaining about how much his back hurts.

You see moments of him slowly learning more about the assassins and their ways, like when he assassinates the homosexual he fought at the beginning Mario scolds him, you also see him learn from the other masters in Florence before escaping. It's not "convenient". It's just the actual mechanics of it all. How can you know the lore of a story prior to reading the story? The only possible method, is to read the spoilers from another source such as a wiki or a separately sold world book, or have a friend who experienced first explain the lore to you. It's actually impossible to know what the lore is before partaking in the story. Therefore, a part of you has to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy the story up to the point where the lore is explained to you.
You can't get around this. It's an objective physical mechanical truth.
Now, you can can argue that AFTER you suspended disbelief, you were LATER unable to maintain that suspension. And we can debate whether or not that's realistic of you. But you can't argue that you didn't suspend disbelief first, in order to enter the fantasy world from the beginning. Admit it. Admit you have to suspend disbelief in the beginning at the very least. Even if you hate the story or plot, The Last of Us and Horizon gameplay are top of the class. They are worth playing just for that, mainly the Last of Us on grounded difficulty.
TLoU1 DLC of grounded was pure adrenaline rush at the ending sequence.

Even the best moments of last of us 2 gameplay (ironically some of abby's missions) are weighed down heavily by how awful the narrative is and how boring most of the environments are compared to 1.
I did not play TLoU2, since I only play on PC. But I cleaned every of the first one on grounded difficulty and it was not easy at all. I was actually thrilled by the difficulty. I am anxious about the TLoU2 remaster for PC just for the gameplay on grounded, but I liked the plot twist on the first one.

I have slight interest in Sekiro but not enough to buy it and the story in Nioh 2 sucked and all the missions except a couple looked the damn same. The only playstation exclusive I have interest in is the original demon's souls, I dropped bloodborne because it just felt like more of the same with DS3 which was the worst souls game (still okay, but not as good as the others). Didn't want to keep borrowing it from a friend so I returned it rather than beating it.

Exactly, though MA2 online does have some deep team mechanic, to win a match, you really need to have a team were everyone know their roles. But yeah, overall, the gameplay isn't deep.
PC on the other hand, offer a lot of various features (drone supply (that you can chase or even kill to prevent others to get supply)), ammo management, mech customization, crowd control, choosing the right AI for fights etc.....
It's a very addictive game, and trying to survive in some of those arenas require a lot of skill, also, there is some "money" management too (since you need to pay for the reparations if you die, and some events need to be paid to access, so you could end up broke if you over estimate your mech/pilot capability.

No. Syndicate's Jack The Ripper was the first playable historical figure in the series.
I never played that dlc but it's a little different because nobody knows who jack the ripper is so you have more artistic license.
