D4 actually finally got the tone of Diablo right again, but you still see the same shitty storytelling gimmicks they used in D3 that heavily detracts from what is an overall decent story, and the actual mechanics of 4 gets old super fast.
It's an extremely divisive game. Geoff Keighley will still nominate it for GOTY though and it'll gey more votes than diablo. The entire show is rigged towards Japanese consoles/publishers.
