Unleashed, Colors, Generations, frick it even Lost World and Forces are better games

You're a stupid zoomer. SA2 is a deluxe game from a by-gone era. Its different styles weren't "cohesive" or whatever stupid video essay terminology you're wont to regurgitate. They're jank af, but it doesn't matter because they cover so much ground. To this day, virtually no other game goes between so many play-styles, from racing, to platforming, to shooting, to pet simulator. In the early 3-D days, this was even more impressive.
Another moron on here tried to argue that City Escape is a bad intro because it doesn't start off tutorializing the "core gameplay". Only a moron would say this about one of the best opening sequences of all time. You're not there, but close to it. >Unleashed >Colors >Generations

Duh. I grew up with both and always disliked 2 compared to 1 even on the Dreamcast. The only thing that was better was the Chaos Garden. I missed the other character styles + mech sections were extremely mid. They should have just fleshed out the overworld sections more instead of removing them.

All scored are exaggerated and this has been known for decades. Not every single movie, game, and tv show is a 7/10+. People rarely rate anything lower than that. It is not to be taken seriously. People are even known to basically buy better scores.

1 is a superior game. >Better OST >Captures the spirit of Sonic the most >Gamma feels way better to control over Tails/Eggman mechs >Levels are generally more fun >Story is better
2 has a better Chao garden and still isn't bad, but 1 is just the overall much better experience
