well, i did it first try with a team similar to yours, and although she nuked the frick out of everyone, Mika still managed to finish her off. yeah, pretty much. nyFuuka is perfectly fine, maybe even better since Ui stays so far back that the healing devices can't reach her and she dies to the nuke if yiou aren't fast enough. i would recommend to pay close attention to the rotation here, basically using Himari immediately after Mika, not before, to quickly rotate back to Mika and double-dip for a faster burst of damage. Even when properly removing debuffs, squishier students can still easily die here

You can never know when the skills take effect in this game. Because the characters' status bars get obscured by visual effects, and you can't tell when the buff icon appears above their head and it's okay to attack, and when you will just interrupt the buff and waste it. And if the buffs are snapshot or applied in real time.

it helps to turn it down to normal speed. accumulate cost to 9 and then quickly use Fuuka. Mika, immediately use Himari while Mika's EX animation is still going, someone's cheap EX (likeShiroko), Fuuka and Mika again. the same kind of rotation saved my ass in Perorodzilla, where otherwise there just isn't enough time to blast the smol chickens to do enough damage
it's a mechanic in one of the challenge battles. there T. Shiroko has a bunch of new mechanics and actually uses skills of all the other Abydos students, not sure if she does the same in regular battles, she never survived long enough to do anything substantial
About 15 minutes a day after you're finished progressing through the main missions. More time investment when you're still new and struggling to clear stages way above your level.
So far only Miku collab has been "confirmed" to be permanently missable and hasn't been rerun yet.
at least get 3 stars on stage 4, it's pretty much the same as 2 just thiccer. A competent blue team with Iroha should do the job. considering it's the middle star, keep in mind you can heal the shielding device to keep everyone alive

I cleared it on my first try, but the pylon thingy in the middle died, as well someone of my own students. There's a whole bunch of extra waves in this stage compared to 2, not just tougher enemies. And most of my investment is in single target carries. I'll have to bring two healers to just keep the pylon alive, because it gets focused down super fast otherwise.
Yeah, of course i took into consideration the fact that you can borrow for this challenge, it really is a rare commodity which only comes with conquest events. just in case, sAyane also works well here
Actually bringing the second healer got me the challenge completion in addition to the middle star too. Nice. That resource gauge gain from the pylon really made a difference, I guess. Or whatever the frick it was doing, I didn't have time to be looking at its buffs.
Awesome! Congrats, anon! Be sure to give challenge 5 another go when you feel like it. Believe it or not, for some challenges, f2p teams ended up working for me, where op bullshit like overbuffed Mika failed, so doesn't hurt to try different teams.

I just did. Again, I'm not sure what just happened. But I think T.Shiroko might actually do damage to herself with her nuke as well. Or I'm just seeing things. Anyway, I guess, I can just work towards that 3* by turtling. Maybe. Her nuke still hurts and my supports might just not have enough HP to survive even the weaker version. I have O.Chinatsu, who is apparently good for removing debuffs, but she's level 1, and leveling her would make me go bankrupt instantly. Not to mention gear/skill upping her.

oh, nice! i don't have oChinatsu, but i don't think she has debuff removal in her kit. i remember her being a great support for auto-attackers like Izuna though. If only there were someone with an aoe cleanse but i can't think of anyone, just Natsu who only cleanses herself and Mari who cleanses a single student. Honestly, for a slower strat sYuuka might work with her thicc shields if you have her or can borrow. hopefully, cleansing from the devices and her shields can be enough to survive

I've seen people using O.Chinatsu for INS S&K, and for some reason I had an impression that was for the slow debuff removal, so you wouldn't get hit for extra 600k by the horses. But apparently the impression I got was wrong, and she was there just to help with Izuna cheese, because she gives attack speed.
Yeah, I have S.Yuuka. I'll just see what I can muster for turtling strategy. I have both Kokona and Koharu leveled up (in preparation for the upcoming Hiero), so I should have more than enough sustain. Provided I don't get oneshot.
In the meantime, Megu proved to be very useful for challenge 1 with her multi-hit conal auto-attacks. Not good enough to clear the achievement though. I'm still looking for that B.Neru borrow. Apparently her EX hits like 40 times. So as long as I put her in high gauge regen/low EX cost rotation team, hopefully I'll be able to clear it. Funny how stage 1 challenge is proving to be harder than stage 5.

Yeah, that's more jfd gimmick territory than a challenge. I'm pretty sure og Neru and summer Nonomi also work pretty well, when paired with summer Izuna to focus on the boss. They should shred the boss, and once it's down, regular mobs stop respawning and they go down pretty fast from smg student's auto-attacks and maybe Hina. Considering investment shouldn't really matter in terms of damage for this one, it's possible to experiment with under-leveled students

Yeah, that's what I did with Megu. I tried AoE DoT students before, but they're too dependent on their EX skills, and the DoTs don't tick that often. And there's their survivability to consider, since they're underleveled. Megu's autos work perfectly for a 3* clear, but not for the time attack challenge unfortunately.

from what i understand, if you focus target the boss with sIzuna as soon as he appears and rush him down before killing any other mobs, the waves simply don't appear once he's dead. but generally, yeah, bNeru is the best option. try asking in your club's chat if anyone can put her up or maybe refresh the search friends page a bit, if someone already has her set and accepts the friend invite, all the better

The boss only spawns in the last wave though. Sure it keeps summoning adds, but they're just part of the same wave. Yes, they stop spawning if you focus the boss, and it shouldn't be a problem. But you still have to kill a bunch of trash mobs which only take 1 damage (actually Mika's EX could hit as high as 8 damage, I think), AND you have to spend time RUNNING through the level between waves.
I've already asked in my club for B.Neru, hopefully someone has her. But I'm also scouting for random friends in the in-game friend search.

I spent 10 rolls on this banner, got 2 SSRs but neither were the rate-up characters. I've made a tough decision to skip this banner in favor of NY PS69 and the upcoming Summer banners... in February. Those may seem far away right now, but they potentially require up to FOUR sparks. I'm not a huge fan of Nagisa or Toki as characters, even Nagisa is core for Greg (Torment anyway, which I'm far away from doing). Unlike Kayoko.

And as for the event progress - you should be using the AP drinks from the shop AND refreshing the shop (yeah, took me some time to realize the PvP shop can be refreshed too). Well, more accurately, you should HAVE stocked up on PvP coins before the event. But then again, there's always some event going on...
I thought so too. It's gems on the other shop tabs, but for PvP tab it's the same PvP coins. That's why it took me a while to realize the AP drinks from PvP shop can be spammed through refresh.

As someone at lvl 58, don't bother. You won't be able to clear it, at least I'm not. Stay with 2 and farm stuff through that, to buy the shit you need or want.
you might struggle with the optional battles and conquering the entire map, but the main path to the bosses in area 3 and 4 are around lvl 50 actually so no reason not to try. the further you can get the better, not to mention you can borrow students, so don't give up so early. if your club isn't very active, go and search for high level senseis and send friend invites. no harm in doing that

Cq 1 is way harder to do than cq5. Also what is everyone's opinion on vol F so far? Haven't fully finished the new story material but I'm enjoying it so far.
I enjoyed it, especially the climactic reveal despite getting spoiled for months now. However, as usual, it's filled with so much technobabble concerning the "science" aspect and the overall lore that it's become a frustrating endeavor to understand the nuance of certain scenarios. For instance, I do not understand how Alice powered up her railgun nor the reason why the consequences of her actions occurred the way it did. I think I do, but the story throws out so many "x," "y" and "z" terminology that it just becomes confusing.
I think she essentially turned her railgun into her Ark with Key's assistance and combined it with the computing power of the ship. The problem was that the target Ark is spread across every universe at once, so it can "dodge" anything in just one. What Alice did, then, was use the same technology to make her railgun fire a shot that exists in all universes, meaning that every instance of the shield is struck simultaneously, delivering the full brunt of the attack. At least, that's how I interpreted it.
I think the cast is too big. It really feels like some characters are only in the crew because the devs thought their group needs representation(looking at you Kayoko).

Are you a new player? There's no way around it other than to just keep pushing. Although you should have been done with that step by now even with 80% bonus. If you're close to 3-5, 6-5 or 9-5 for the main stages, prioritize clearing those instead to upgrade your cafe. Higher cafe level = More AP every day.

That's pretty good. See if you have the team to reach 12-5 for the next upgrade. Otherwise, focus on the event instead. >Is level 55 good
With a high level borrow, that should be enough to clear the main central nodes as well as the ones on the right side. I might be overly optimistic for the latter, but it should be doable. The left side would likely be impassable due to the academy bonus - Shanhaijing and SRT students. Similarly on Zone 2, you'll likely have trouble with the left side there as well since they require Arius and Red Winter students.

you should be able to clear 3 without problem, 4 might be a challenge even with borrows, be sure to sweep the node that gives you the most mats per AP, the one that gives you 12+bonus engine parts/burgers that node is also the best way to farm mats for the area 4 key

My idea is just a muscle girl. Not an athletic one like sumire but an honest to got 6ft 9 muscle neanderthal.
If you're not level 70+, don't bother about them. While there's more than enough natural AP regen to do everything, this is only reserved for players at higher levels. Maybe upgrade the center ones (lowest cost) on all zones to max to get some value out of them - more credits, pyros from task completion - but generally you want to focus on farming Zone 4 for the purple artifacts. No other event has higher drop rates than this (12% vs 1-3%) so you really want to take advantage of it as much as possible.
Every new player goes through a 30 day gifting event where they're given something each day during that period, cumulminating in a 10-roll ticket. I think that's where the bouquet came from.
Not that I know of. I've only been playing for 6 months though. Maybe it's been given out before during other special occasions, but all I know is that it's super rare. Purple gifts in general aren't given out as rewards often, let alone the bouquet which gives max affection regardless of the recipient.

I spent 10 rolls on this banner, got 2 SSRs but neither were the rate-up characters. I've made a tough decision to skip this banner in favor of NY PS69 and the upcoming Summer banners... in February. Those may seem far away right now, but they potentially require up to FOUR sparks. I'm not a huge fan of Nagisa or Toki as characters, even Nagisa is core for Greg (Torment anyway, which I'm far away from doing). Unlike Kayoko.

And as for the event progress - you should be using the AP drinks from the shop AND refreshing the shop (yeah, took me some time to realize the PvP shop can be refreshed too). Well, more accurately, you should HAVE stocked up on PvP coins before the event. But then again, there's always some event going on...

I thought so too. It's gems on the other shop tabs, but for PvP tab it's the same PvP coins. That's why it took me a while to realize the AP drinks from PvP shop can be spammed through refresh.

it's pretty funny how genshin's Ayaka and Fate's Ushiwakamaru basically have the exact same voice, while Taira, being the exact same character as Ushi sounds pretty different. Hayami can sound different if she wants to, maybe she's just directed to do the same kind of voice

the achievement doesn't specify which 30 missions you need to complete, unlike it usually does, and it's numbered 43 or something while there are only 5 challenge achievements so it should be more than possible if you conquer the entire map and upgrade everything

you might struggle with the optional battles and conquering the entire map, but the main path to the bosses in area 3 and 4 are around lvl 50 actually so no reason not to try. the further you can get the better, not to mention you can borrow students, so don't give up so early. if your club isn't very active, go and search for high level senseis and send friend invites. no harm in doing that

I enjoyed it, especially the climactic reveal despite getting spoiled for months now. However, as usual, it's filled with so much technobabble concerning the "science" aspect and the overall lore that it's become a frustrating endeavor to understand the nuance of certain scenarios. For instance, I do not understand how Alice powered up her railgun nor the reason why the consequences of her actions occurred the way it did. I think I do, but the story throws out so many "x," "y" and "z" terminology that it just becomes confusing.
I think she essentially turned her railgun into her Ark with Key's assistance and combined it with the computing power of the ship. The problem was that the target Ark is spread across every universe at once, so it can "dodge" anything in just one. What Alice did, then, was use the same technology to make her railgun fire a shot that exists in all universes, meaning that every instance of the shield is struck simultaneously, delivering the full brunt of the attack. At least, that's how I interpreted it.
Koharu is an exception to his but I think head wings look fricking stupid, and I will never understand why Japan likes them
I think the cast is too big. It really feels like some characters are only in the crew because the devs thought their group needs representation(looking at you Kayoko).

Are you a new player? There's no way around it other than to just keep pushing. Although you should have been done with that step by now even with 80% bonus. If you're close to 3-5, 6-5 or 9-5 for the main stages, prioritize clearing those instead to upgrade your cafe. Higher cafe level = More AP every day.

That's pretty good. See if you have the team to reach 12-5 for the next upgrade. Otherwise, focus on the event instead.

With a high level borrow, that should be enough to clear the main central nodes as well as the ones on the right side. I might be overly optimistic for the latter, but it should be doable. The left side would likely be impassable due to the academy bonus - Shanhaijing and SRT students. Similarly on Zone 2, you'll likely have trouble with the left side there as well since they require Arius and Red Winter students.

you should be able to clear 3 without problem, 4 might be a challenge even with borrows, be sure to sweep the node that gives you the most mats per AP, the one that gives you 12+bonus engine parts/burgers that node is also the best way to farm mats for the area 4 key

Should I really upgrade all the bases? The expensive ones from area 3 and 4 look like a waste of resources to me.
If you're not level 70+, don't bother about them. While there's more than enough natural AP regen to do everything, this is only reserved for players at higher levels. Maybe upgrade the center ones (lowest cost) on all zones to max to get some value out of them - more credits, pyros from task completion - but generally you want to focus on farming Zone 4 for the purple artifacts. No other event has higher drop rates than this (12% vs 1-3%) so you really want to take advantage of it as much as possible.

Every new player goes through a 30 day gifting event where they're given something each day during that period, cumulminating in a 10-roll ticket. I think that's where the bouquet came from.

Not that I know of. I've only been playing for 6 months though. Maybe it's been given out before during other special occasions, but all I know is that it's super rare. Purple gifts in general aren't given out as rewards often, let alone the bouquet which gives max affection regardless of the recipient.
Yeah, and if you started playing during that time, you also get the new player promo on top of it. It's entirely separate.
