I'm playing a few PSX games on DuckStation using CHDs, but I keep getting weird, green blocks showing up on FMVs. At first I thought I downloaded some bad dumps so I started converting some BINs and CUEs to CHDs, but they still come out the same way. I used like five different CHD converters to no avail. Anyone else had this happen to them and is there any way to fix this?

Pic related; it's from the developer logo sequence in Virtual Pro Wrestling.

There's nothing that screams "ZOOMER" more than "achievements" in games, especially in retro ones. That bullshit belongs in Wrong board

not really if games look worse then a 15 years old emulator.
most emulators are accurate right now specially pcsx-r i tested armored core on both and shitstation had sveral issues with audio, graphic glitches, stuff not showing up,hud issues and so on on several versions yet pcsx-r had no issues at all played great, didn't had graphical glitches or issues, sound was great as always.

          the emulator is moron-proof
how the frick are you making it run worse than fricking epsxe dumbass

if resident evil games look like diarrea plastered all over the emulator is at fault.
the emulator has lot of issues only reason zoom zoom praise it like a master piece is
            >muuhh retro achievments.
the emulator has shitty shaders, has no interpolation of image, bilinear filtering is poorly done, not only the countless of graphical glitches the emulator itself has on several games and those are reported on github.
The emulator is made for moronic people yet offers nothing that i can't achieve on pcsx-r,psxjin or epsxe 1.6 fanboy

I used ePSXe and switched from that over to Duckstation. I had to constantly tweak ePSXe while Duckstation works right away with every game I try. Total bullshit that ePSXe works better, it's a bad emulator.

As for OP, have you checked your graphics card and if other people with the same card have the same problem?

literally none of that is true lol

                >retro achievments
don't care about that garbage myself, but it's a vastly superior emulator
are you aware that it has graphics options?

                >duckstation gayboys
care to explain how is superior? you can't because in no way is superior to other emulators that stopped updating years ago because reached the point that nothing else could be done.
                >PGXP: that is ported from pscx-r so nothing new.
                >filters : those are present on all emulators so nothing new.
                >shaders : nothing new only uses the shaders from dolphin
                >upscaling : that can be done in epsxe and pcsx-r so nothing new.
                >looking worse then psxfin (2007) : well that one is new but is not an improvement.
besides epsxe and pcsx-r you only make setup once and after that enjoy playing games no issues at all (no need to make different setups for each game like shitstation).
and what you call total bullshit is something several users (hundreds) had issues with, how is it posible that it looks worse then an emulator made in 2007,why doesn't have interpolation (resident evil games look like garbage),why the dithering doesn't work? (again obvious on resident evil games),why the msaa or antialiasing doesn't work (no issues on pcsx-r or epsxe),all things shown just point to one thing and is smoke and mirrors like what big companies do to trick you into getting their stuff but in the end is just a mess and a lie.

                >care to explain how is superior?
Not having it break down when you play a game you didn't configure the fricking plugins for, because it needs none. I don't even care about the enhancements.
You're just that much of a dumb Black person lmao.

                >care to explain how is superior?
it has all the same features as any other emulator, it's exactly as accurate, it's so easy to set up a literal moron could use it, plus it has RA support which the other's don't. thus it is superior

I don't think it's the CHD's. Try playing with the settings in DuckStation or just switch to PCSX core in RetroArch

no one cares about that is like dolphin developers dropping windows 7 support because they got a big juicy check from microsoft and ignored thousands of their users nobody has done anything.
