No. The plot is dividev between a group persuing a Russian terrorist across the world, while in the USA a group of Rangers are trying to not get assfricked by Russians.
The plot twist is that the US General helping you is the true responsible of the war, after he got pissed off that nobody gave a frick about his nuked troops back in CoD 4.
