Say what you will about the Prequels, but the absolute hype for them was amazing, I fondly remember all the merch and build up for them everyone was excited.
I miss when movie releases were actual big events and lived up to the term blockbuster.

I kinda want a loose video game adaptation of the Original Trilogy. Add some deviations for the sake of gameplay. Luke's progression could be like: >Luke's main weapons are the lightsaber, the stick he had in his speeder at the beginning and a blaster. At first, he can only perform basic attacks with the lightsaber so you'd probably want to default to the blaster. The stick is shit but you get an achievement if you beat the whole game with it. >As you progress, you can find lightsaber art primers to learn new techniques and steadily get better. Also, every time you fight Vader or someone else who uses lightsabers, Luke's saber mastery gets massive bonuses. >There's actually a few Inquisitors left in this one, just to give Luke someone other than Vader to fight.
Problem is you'd need a game that has both good lightsaber combat AND good aerial dogfights since Luke has to do both on a semi-regular basis.
I mean he has the lightsaber so he should use it. He just sucks with it. Like give the player the option to use it if they want, maybe even let you block shots with it since we clearly see he's capable of it in the ride over. Raw talent is something else.
You gotta let the player be able to frick up. The lightsaber's in his inventory so the player should be allowed to use it. He just has like no moves with it and its best application is shit like smashing doors or whatever.
ok if you mean it's a gimmick thing basically useless as a weapon, then I agree.

I think you should get and achievement if you actually complete Tatooine and the Death Star with it though. Like at that point, it's practically a useless piece of shit but you should still get something if you actually manage to use it to the end.
