Lmao, I haven’t played a single game that released in 2023. Hell the latest game I’ve played is Judgment. Maybe by mid next year I’ll play something from 2023.
God. This fricking anime and manga was SO fricking good. But I stopped reading it years ago when Hiatus was taking too long and now I'm afraid to return to it because along with Phos and shit being associated with LGBT and non binary shit, I also just feel like I might find it cringe if I return and reread it from the beginning. And I don't want to ruin my memory of it being so good
same, someone i used to be friends with trooned out over covid, became obsessed with hnk and chose "phos" as their new name and now i will probably never be able to read/watch it again
I'm not sure if you're referencing some twitter post ad-hock, but the gems were conically referred to being genderless because they literally are, and not because the author was in favor of some lgbt movement.
The fish are the flesh so they're the only ones who can procreate, the gems are bones so they can't.
>I'm not sure if you're referencing some twitter post ad-hock, but the gems were conically referred to being genderless because they literally are, and not because the author was in favor of some lgbt movement. >The fish are the flesh so they're the only ones who can procreate, the gems are bones so they can't.
Nobody said that was the case. Obviously the characters aren't being called non binary for no reason, the point is how strongly the community is no LGBT BECAUSE they're canonically "genderless" even though they're all clearly female coded, except for probably literally Phos, because shes fricked like 7 different ways mentally
They're all androgynous enough you can project whatever you prefer really, barring the super girly ones. There's plenty of fujo fans that draw them as femboys and bishounen.
They're the collected essence of all that was good and pure in humanity which is why they are all canonically xx females the y chromosome contains nothing that is strictly good and pure so no part of any y chromosome essence exists in the gems.
Why did they all become massive c**ts after going to the moon?

Whoops, that was meant for
i spedread this shit so hard i can only remember the gem who bimboified themselves on the moon
but I guess it also applies to

they were "c**ts" before that, the frick do you mean? isn't that literally the entire point of the anime, unless I'm misremembering shit.

I guess this is your brain on speedreading. The gems were all unnaturally nice and willing to help each other in any situation. Everyone that went to the moon had a complete personality change.

everyone who didn't go to the moon also became a c**t >Phos comes back and just wants to talk, she managed to stop the attacks >killed on sight >split on pieces so she can NEVER come back >forgotten >so fricked up even monkman tries to stealthily save her

You act like there was only 1 attack. They raided the gems 3 times, Phos coming off more of a villain each time.

>I guess this is your brain on speedreading.
lol.
regardless of much of a non response with no reference this is. If my vague memory serves right, I'm certain there are constant problems, but the gems were just hiding it superficially, the entire reason I remember like the series was because it made the character feel appropriately human and flawed withojt exactly being blatant, while also having a fun literal mystery behind what's going on.
If my memory also serves right, I'm pretty sure all the tensions is LITERALLY why they ended up going to the moon in the first place. I'm sure in a technical, literal and black and white sense the gems and monk dude are the "good guys". But there were almost certainly problems.

This.
The first gems literally went to the moon bc of personal problems they didn't think there was a solution on earth >Dia low self-steem and to avoid Bort >Ame 84 to learn how to live without the fear of losing 33 >Alexy to find a cure of his rage >Yellow to find the missing gems >Padpa bc you know

They went to the moon because Phos questioned Kongou due to Lapis edging her on. This was unthinkable for gems. Phos wanted to shut Sensei down so of course she would be kill on sight.
Everyone wanted to get closer to Shinsha and wanted to help Phos find something to do. When Phos got her legs and told Yellow, the first thing she wanted to do was run with her. No one ostracized Phos during each fusing, they were more fascinated and encouraging that she was getting stronger. Yes, Dia has a complex with Bort. Thats their dynamic but they arent c**ts to each other and are still unconditionally helpful.

I do not trust a single word of this, especially because a core message I remember from the manga was the notion that the gems aren't exactly "good" or "perfect" the way they're presented. I don't care to quibble around moronic words like "c**t" I just know they didn't all necessarily get along, and I swear some of them are literally ostracized whether the reason justified or not it creates tension and frustration, not to mention a reason for one to be ostracized would imply imperfection anyway.
Everything about the way you're describing the gems and the manga runs heavily counter to my admittedly vague but strong memory. Didn't Phos have an entire arc struggling with how mangled she was?
The way I see it. The entire point of the series is just an examination of human emotion and psychology and how that would affect "beings" that are supposed to be perfect, and Phos constantly breaking is just taking that to the extreme.
Anyway, maybe one day I'll return to it. I've been disillusioned as a whole with Japanese based media, so if I get desperate enough.

The only gem that is ostracized is Cinnabar and its mostly self inflicted because she views herself as different due to her poison. As I said, everyone wanted to get to know her better. They clearly say it multiple times. Sorry it goes against your head canon but thats how it was. They say it both in the anime and the manga.
Everyone bullies Phos as a joke. None of them had a problem with her tagging along with them when Sensei assigned her to them.

NTA but >Everyone bullies Phos as a joke
But jokes hurt you know, because of their style of society of keep their problems to themselves, Phos felt allienated for being the youngest and weakest. That's why he was able to empathize with Shitsha in the first place, bc he felt alone. >None of them had a problem with her tagging along with them when Sensei assigned her to them.
BECAUSE SENSEI TOLD THEM TOO, they wouldn't go agaisnt his rulling. right on the first chapter when he wanted to tag along with Morga and Goshe, they straight out refused, not because sensei was calling him, but because he was weak.

Stop calling them he, troony,
And they refused because SHE was weak. It was for her own safety. Even Kongo didnt assign Phos until he felt like she was ready.

ICHIKAWA WROTE HE, I'LL CALL A HE. If you get pissy bc of your headcanon that's your fricking problem. Now miss me with your pronoun homosexualry. >It was for her own safety.
He didn't care, he still felt allienated bc of it, he craved the battlefield and all other jobs he hated. Bc he never felt the price of consequences, no matter what they said, it wouldn't change his mind. Only after losing companions and how dire things were he started regretting, but it was too late at that point.

The m*ooninites are the descendants of the souls of humans that were able to go to the moon to try to avoid the apocalypse or something and are probably able to possess the gems somehow.
>which is why they are all canonically xx females the y chromosome contains nothing that is strictly good and pure so no part of any y chromosome essence exists in the gems.
okay crazy ass troony.
Why did they all become massive c**ts after going to the moon?
God I fricking hate cringeworm
I don't like Karen, but you guys unnatural hatred probably comes bc you either speedread it or waited for the monthly release and let your dislike simmer. After my third reading, i still don't like her, but i understand where she's coming from.
You might deny it, but all gems are c**ts. Phos is not excluded, he thinking of greatest good, pushed his ideals without caring about the others opinions, dragging them along with him. And because of their non-contact society, they never talk and discuss their situations like they did on the moon.
You don't need to be a clairvoyant, someone from the future, or God to predict that every next year will be worse than the previous one overall
Like i give a frick. I'll go play some Max Payne 1 now and you should stop being a homosexual OP.
>playing Max Payne 1
Based, I'll give you that
Phos is CUTE
Isn't she like 99% not phosphoilyte anymore and is effectively literally fricking dead?
yes, but also not quite
>finished reading the manga recently
>its absolute dogshit ending
Damn....
Phos is SUFFERING
Adamantium did nothing wrong
>land of the trannies gay thinks anyone cares about what he has to say
DIE
What video game brings you happiness, Ganker?
Should've ended here. Everything afterwards feels anticlimactic in comparison
>Ichikawa doesn't even bother to ruin christmas anymore
Bros... when will it end?
phos ruined everything
Lmao, I haven’t played a single game that released in 2023. Hell the latest game I’ve played is Judgment. Maybe by mid next year I’ll play something from 2023.
o shit i forgot about this manga
is it finished yet
Hiatus again
i see.
let's wait warmly until it is complete~
Probably only 3 chapters left
So at the current rate it should be finished around mid-2025
Thank god, now I can actually move on with my life

you should get a hobby.
