the only reason why japan isn't using UE5 is because japan is filled with japanese
japanese devs are honestly fricking horrible to work with, they're the opposite of progress and will slow down any team trying to reach any real goal
Could this shit lead to Ender's game in real life? >tell players it's just a video game but give them rewards for completing the assigned objective >use AI to obfuscate the gore and reality of the violence in real time >robots clearing buildings of targets whilst players think they're doing a harmless activity.
I guarantee that governments are itching at the balls to use games like this for training.
I can't wait for the killbots to be fortnite dancing and dabbing on third worlders desperately trying to cope with the knowledge they're being slaughtered by Adderall addicted fourteen year olds halfway around the world
It's funny, the real dystopian part isn't people playing games to murder people, but it's that people would do it for free just to play the game instead of being paid to do it. The beta testers of future war.

This is the true issue with making video games indistinguishable from real life. You open the door to people believe that real life presented in a gamified way is in fact just a videogame. A door which you can never close once opened.
It doesn’t even look that real it only tricks you for about 3 seconds and then you realize it just looks like fricking half-life with poorly stabilized vr capture
Why would you care so much? Everybody is attracted to teen girls. It's not like you have to run out and start grabbing them up because of hypothetical situations in your mind.
I don't give a shit about "indistinguishable from reality." I had enough of it from video games five years ago. I've had enough of it from ACTUAL REALITY. Every extra polygon some fricking AAA shitfactory pumps into your game is one less dimension your gameplay will have. I'm sick of graphics card wars. I'm sick of sweaty SPEC WAKES on upcoming games that aren't worth playing anyway. I just want games that are fun, probably the reason I play more crunky-looking pixel games these days. I just want to play, man. I'd like to take a great story with it, but these AAA gaygos can't put in a great story. Sometimes the indie guys have a nice one, like in an adventure game, or maybe a little weird fairy tale in something like Undertale, etc.
I don't want my waifu to look indistinguishable from reality. That would completely miss the point.
What is the point of tranime if it looks real?

Make this VR so it fricks over a lot of kids into growing into terrorists, in minecraft

Reality blows. Vidya is supposed to be escapism.
Why would I want my waifu to be a 3D pig disgusting prostitute?
Implying anyone in Japan can even run Unreal Engine 4 let alone 5.
what is anime you moronic dumbfrick?
This will obviously be rated M or restricted on Steam so why are people even arguing about muh kids?
Because "muh-kids" is an escape goat for something else
>an escape goat
MODS = homosexualS
Why are you seething at a pepe, anon?

If my waifu looked like an actual 13 year old, I'd feel like an actual pedophile

Wat dis
Unrecorded game.
Holy shit this game is indistinguishable from reality!
So when are we going to get a serial killer simulator with real graphics? Too edgy?
>indistinguishable from reality
this looks nothing like real life or holding a gun and aiming

>Imagine the possibilities if Japan gets ahold of unreal engine 5
I'm pretty sure they're already making UE5 games, at least Kingdom Hearts IV will use it
That doesn't look like reality though.
