Hopes and dreams? Just give me the fricking F-Zero GX Remastered shadow drop and I will gladly suck the Nintendo President's dick.
Hopes and dreams? Just give me the fricking F-Zero GX Remastered shadow drop and I will gladly suck the Nintendo President's dick.
I don't expect Direct because they most likely are making new console
F-Zero is so fricking overrated.
Shut up about it already.
Frick you. There are only two truly great racing games, Gran Turismo and F-Zero.
Gran Turismo 7 is the greatest realistic racing game ever made. So much so that F1 themselves uses it.
F-Zero GX is the greatest unrealistic racing game of all time. Literally every FromSoft game is easy as frick compared to the story mode. This game made hair start growing on my chest when I was 12. The idea of being able to carry it everywhere is the greatest thing ever.
yeah that will drop in 2025. The President of Nintendo cannot just walk into investor meetings (like the one near the end of June) with literally nothing to show except Pikmin 4 and Everybody 1 2 Switch. The Direct has already leaked, it's next Wednesday and there will be fricking games.
Hasn't Furukawa said somewhere that the new console would have a shorter reveal-release period than the Switch did?
He said shorter announcement to release
switch was announced in 2015
source of the leak?
His ass
Not as good as burnout
If there's anything to like about the game, the story mode is not one of them and you posted proof of why. Needing to exploit glitches is poor game design, and that specific mission has been proved to be straight up BS and Goroh has infinite boost. I think GX is a great game, Sega OC characters and story mode aside; the stages and overall Master difficulty are both great. The story mode is a tier of its own and actually is just needlessly hard/bad. Plus it only focuses on Captain Falcon when there's an entire cast of characters. Something closer to GP Legends but in GX's engine and universe would serve it MUCH better.
I was not filtered by MEGAwiener, the fastest homosexual in the galaxy but tons of people will be.
Do you need glitches, or is that just what people think? For me, seeing how short the story mode is was the annoying bit.
Maybe not for the normal difficulty missions, those aren't bad. Each mission has a hard mode and very hard mode. If you want to clear the hard and very hard modes, you need to at least know strats going in for this. Even the introductory mission where you collect canisters on very hard is needlessly fricking hard where you need to take specific lines to clear it.
You don't need glitches. Goroh is a scumbag with infinite boost, but he only boosts when you pass him. So basically you just need to keep up with him until the later part of the stage and spam boost. Yeah, it's a bit esoteric but there's nothing about that which you need glitches for.
The only chapter where the AI blatantly has blatant cheating rubber banding is chapter 7. You don't need glitches to beat it either, and it's dramatically easier if you just destroy black shadow at the start of the race. The other story modes are either fair races or tests of your skill and ability to control your machine. It's definitely a highlight of the game, not a fault.
>ability to control your machine
Not a highlighted problem that I had with it but it's not my machine, it's the Blue Falcon.
My machine is the Great Star.
Urban Champion 2
Understood. You can start getting down on your knees.
C-Can I play F-Zero GX on my Switch while I'm down here, Furukawa-sama?
There won't be a Direct because they have nothing to show. Pikmin 4 is the only game they have left and they're focusing on the successor console for release next spring.
your prime 4, sir?
Vaporware. At best a launch title for the successor. We know they were still hiring early stage development staff (e.g. environmental artists) as recently as last year and development has been rife with delays and restarts.
its releasing this year
trust the plan
I mean, Dread rose up like the Undertaker, revealed Summer 2021 and dropped in October. Prime Remastered just all of a sudden shadow dropped. I think it might really happen.
there was one delay and restart. they hired the cinematics director who worked on the GoW Ragnarok trailers last year. Trailers will be coming this year. Game is likely almost finished and ready to rock and roll. Unironically I see Metroid Prime 4 launching by the end of the year as a reasonable possibility. More likely sometime 2024. New console is not coming until 2025 at the earliest. Logistics model is not great for producing a stronger Switch with a good battery life that can sell cheap at a profit, at least right now.
I don't think you understand how much of a setback even one restart can be for a game of Prime 4's scope. Sure they might keep some ideas and concepts, but that's still months or even years of development they have to walk back on.
It's been 4 and a half years since they announced development restarted
They said Retro was taking over in Jan 2019 and they probably restarted a few months before the announcement. That said it's clear from all the job adverts that Retro was in no position to take on the job at that time so expect development to take longer than usual
>Hopes and dreams?
They announce and shadow launch their new system, alongside splatoon 4 early.
Trust me guys the switch pro is coming right now guaranteed!
>Hopes and dreams?
A new Star Fox game with hopefully a good gimmick this time and not a reuse of 64 story. That's about it as I expect everything else to be something about TotK DLC, confirming they are still making Prime 4, and an announcement on making more Nintendo-related movies.
Direct will be small, mostly indie shit and shovelware. The truth is they have basically nothing they can show, because the successor is on the way. Direct will have
>Pikmin 4 overview trailer
>MK8 DLC
>Splatoon DLC
>TOTK DLC
>Baten Kaitos release date
>Everybody 1-2 Switch
>Some kind of holiday title
And that will take them through the rest of the year. Successor announced in August for release in December-January; with the September Direct sending off the Switch and showing all sorts of shit for the successor
Direct Mini
>Paper Mario TTYD Remake announcement
>Nier Replicant announcement
>Dragon Quest III HD full reveal
>Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC
>Persona 3 Remake
>Mario and Rabbids Rayman DLC trailer
>Splatoon 3 Octo Expansion
>Metaphor Refantazio
>Professor Layton and the New World of Steam trailer
>Everybody 1-2 Switch
>ends with Metroid Prime 4 reveal and trailer, holiday 2023
P3make is not confirmed not coming to Switch
And then clone Iwata reveals that the kojima clone is finally ready to announce ZOE3 and MGS6
There isn't even a Xbox One version for Metaphor or P3Reload so I doubt it's coming to switch. Maybe if Nintendo upgrades their outdated hardware it'll come to that.
P3 Reload is a Vita-level game
Get your eyes checked vita can't run that without a heavy downgrade, they'd need a whole extra year of development
>There isn't even a Xbox One version for Metaphor
Means nothing. There isn't an Xbox One version of Mortal Kombat 1 either yet the Switch is getting it.
>hopes
eh
>dreams
anything mother would be cool but it is not happening
>facts
codename oxygen
I just want a new console, the Switch has been underpowered since it released seven years ago. I also just think it would be hilarious for them to announce it soon, since all the "insiders" have been really quiet about the prospects of a new console - the one time nobody is saying "SWITCH PRO COMING SOON FOR REAL WE PROMISE" is when they announce it
I have no hopes and dreams just expectations, which is nothing, maybe a few shitty third party and indie games, Pikmin 4 and a port of MP2/3, some news on some other known games, hopefully they are actually winding down the Switch, I can't take too much more of this.
>Kid Icarus Uprising, FE Awakening, and Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World HD Remasters
>Dragon Quest III HD and XII reveal
>Dragon Quest IV-IX on Switch
>Dark Souls II + III on Switch
>Viewtiful Joe 1+2
>New Donkey Kong game
>New F-Zero
>New 3D Mario
>New 2D Zelda
>SMT 1+2+if on SNES online
Let me have my delusions
Where the frick is it, it's supposed to be like Goemon on the N64, even the studio are staffed by former Goemon developers, and it was supposed to launch in 2021, I hope it's not built on Unreal like Crafted World.
>Everybody 1 2 Switch
what is this, new goemon game leak? true if big. sauce?
More details on this
I think this will legit be a huge success because a lot of people played it when they were a lot younger.
Old people played it too, it was the only DS game my parents ever played
>Hopes and dreams?
The usual cope, Prime 4. Also a Miitopia or Tomodachi follow up.
Oh yeah, that game. Now would be a good time to hear some more details.
They're gonna announce Nintendo vs Capcom, I promise you bro.
>Now would be a good time to hear some more details.
I think they've just announced it, they're probably making it up right now and releasing it end of 2024
New Smash fighters when?
Is this real?
Trust me bro.
Decapolice release date, although I should probably just wait for the inevitable PC port.
>inevitable
It's already a multiplat
Yes, Switch/PS4/PS5. There was no mention of a PC version.
I thought it was coming to everything, everyone's a multiplat bawd these days, even Persona is.
So far, no it is not. It is only going to be released on those platforms at the moment.
Persona only is because SEGA and MS are forcing Atlus, otherwise they wouldn't give a frick. And there are other devs who don't make everything multiplat too. In the first place it's often not much of a big game changer in terms of sales anyway.
Honestly I only wait new game from Danganronpa writter. And it's going to be released in 2 weeks.
>Hopes and dreams?
DW10
How do we know?
I'd like to see Geno show up in the Direct, I trust Square Enix to do my blue puppet boi justice tbh. A remake of Super Mario RPG is what I was thinking and I believed that has been rumored for a long time now. Outside of that I think there are some obvious things to expect, like third party ports and gamecube ports/remakes/remasters. Which might be boring to some people but I think could be really cool depending on what they are! Maybe some GBA Nintendo Switch Online updates. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC too.
Not to give false hopes and before you call me a homosexual. About 6 months ago NateTheHate did say that F-zero would get SOMETHING this year, and he almost always 100% right. Now, its been 6 months already and nothing. So PLEASE ANYTHING.
I even replayed GX this year already fully excited for what may come.
GP Legend on NSO
>NateTheHate
As reliable as Laura Kate Dale and Tom Phillips.
I don't know about that. Those two are quite unreliable.
Exactly. Nate is full of shit too.
Nate was correct about the dates of the last 5 directs
Nope.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE FAKE "LEAKER" homosexualS ARE WRONG
>F-Zero GX Remastered
>next month is the 20th anniversary
I BELIEVE!
FE4 REMAKE
Partner direct. See you in sept
More Pikmin 4 news, either the confirmation of a second new Pikmin type or the confirmation of returning types in the story.
Project X Zone 3
all i know about those games is the KOS-MOS laser breast window animation
