It is relatively simple to beat Malenia if you don't care about doing it properly, if you abuse the spirits and weapons with bleed (rivers of aids) then you can wreck her.

I cheesed the living frick out of her with a visage shield build. Scholar's shield + Greatshield talisman and max endurance/fire damage build for that fun and interactive hold L2 fight.
Do the opposite and make a boss that can only be fought with summons. It would be funny.

The dlc is about Miquella, you need to find him and that's on mohg.
Kinda hoping there will be multiple ways considering the open-world nature but I guess not. People speculated that the DLC land is the place in the middle of the map where the Divine Towers converge, it would've been nice if you could enter the place from there as well.

i had a glitch where she just ended up dying for some reason on her second phase. I never bothered playing her again since I only played through the game once.
she does that if you do trigger the special attack after stance break right as her first life bar ends
