You’re greatly exaggerating the issue. The only questionable Pokemon in the meta right now is Urshifu. Every other meta Pokemon is available in at least two games or in Scarlet/Violet. Ursaluna is available in both PLA and the free Pokemon Go, while Regieleki and Regidrago just left raids in Pokemon Go. You don’t NEED three Switch games to get all the Pokemon you need, you just need one of any of the games that had all the Legendary Pokemon up to Gen V (for the Genies + Heatran). Or again, you could just play the free Pokemon Go and spend like five dollars to do raids to get them (while they’re available).

Game Freak would never allow legendaries and mythicals to breed. They claim it's to keep them "rare" and "unique", but it's mainly because it would lose potential sales for other versions, DLC, and side games they claim to be main games. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut trading in Gen 10 and make that feature Home exclusive or make Home mandatory for VGC.

Yes, it was always obvious that everyone hacked, but the hack checks were so lax that as long as your Pokemon didn't have things that affected gameplay like impossible stats or moves they were never busted. This led to people not paying attention about the fine details anymore despite pkhex offering a very comprehensive legality checker that would ensure that their mons would pass through even harsh checks, so now that the new hack check paid attention to HOME trackers and game of origin the morons got busted.
