It can take down a basic and two of them can take down a conehead pretty reliably. All for 0 sun and a fast recharge.
You can literally play all Night levels in this game with zero sun sources and just mindlessly spam fume-shroom and have no difficulty whatsoever.
PvZ on its base state is piss easy until you get to the furthest points of Survival Endless: and after that it becomes boring because there's only 5-6 plants that actually work.
>Anon, it's been a gazillion years. What does it do again?
Shoots stars in five directions that deal the same damage as a pea. Up, 45°, 135°, directly below and behind it. Costs 125 sun. >Also, is there a definitive version of PvZ if I wanted to play it again?
Game of the Year
PvZ2 is genuinely one of the worst games ever made and one of the biggest insults to the original game and i will never understand why you kids try to convince people its not complete and utter garbage.
Its a mobile game. The graphics are garbage, the plants are garbage, the enemies are garbage, the entire fricking game is one miserable experience made to milk moronic children out of their money 10+ years ago.
If i ever had access to a time machine i would go back in time to shoot the moron who came up with this so it never happens.
You have no idea of my unending hatred for this filth and everything it represents.
Come on anon, I hate PvZ2 as much as the next person, but the game didn't use to be what it is now. At launch (and up until the future world I think), the game was a proper sequel to the original PvZ. Yeah sure, there were SOME (emphasis on the fact that there weren't that many) broken premium plants, some of which were free to unlock cuh as the plant power plant when you logged on with your Facebook account. Gradually, though, the game began to undergo a series of staff change and that showed everywhere: new worlds began to have fewer and fewer plants, new premium plants became busted and outright made some base-game plants irrelevant. Now you end up where we are now, the game has a never ending amount of premium plants, irrelevant PvP and a Grundy as frick plant levelling mechanic that breaks the game.
All in all, PvZ2 has had these different "eras" where the game got "progressively-worse-but-not-awful". The game is real shit now, but it wasn't always like this and people who say it's good probably haven't played in some time and don't realize what it's become
>regular newspaper zombie is a weak zombie that gains extra speed after you deplete some health >modded newspaper zombie is universally an unstoppable beast
Why that one, specifically?
I thought starfruit was shit until I did that challenge level where you have to build a star out of starfruit. Holy frick, it annihilates absolutely everything.
>slow zombie which instantly mows plants instantly upon touching them (except for walls, which it shreds quickly) >when it dies, the mower is released and only stops upon coming into contact with a spikeweed, getting blocked by a wall, being shot by a cactus (which shrinks down to its height) or mowing down a single plant instantly upon contact >released mower can activate that lane's actual mower, but it passing the end can't lose you the game
I'd like it.
just a small thing, but it's not "in retrospective" it's "in retrospect". a retrospective is more like an analysis as in you would go in depth exploring how something changed over time, whereas the phrase "in retrospect" is usually attached to a single sentence or opinion
That's not puff-shroom
Puff shroom just makes the game boring when you realize it
are you joking? how is puff shroom broken?

it's even a good stall measure in daylight levels
Even during day levels they can easily be used as stalling fodder, too.

>Game of the Year Edition
Nah, OG version is superior
>Anon, it's been a gazillion years

>Spam reliant Plant. Good
Kys homosexual guy mask.
Is Shy Guy Mask in the room with us right now?
It's a single player casual game, they're not autists that minmax everything and try to make everything perfectly "balanced".
Play ECLISE

True.
ECLISE tries to fix it but it still has that mobile game stench.

>Plants Vs Zombies 2 never officially coming to Steam
I'm still mad they made it a phone game.
I used to play the vs. mode with my dad and he always kicked my ass with these things
It sucked anyway I think
And yet I can't hate popcap selling out when they did. The amount of money they got for pvz and peggle is a once in century kind of deal.
What game?
looks like pokemon
i prefer games that arent overly balanced
its soulful
Are there any good Plants vs Zombies clones?
minecraft vs zombies 2
I.RULE
the dev died
what do you mean? i just checked his socials and he seems to be fine
