I remember it. It was honestly fun.
How could you post it if you didn't remember it?
Well i haven't forgotten Trauma Team
I have a visceral memory of being filtered by the second (third?) stage of the very last level and absolutely losing my shit about it. Never finished the first Trauma Center.
I also have a visceral memory of this shower scene and did finish Trauma Team despite the godawful motion control endoscopic procedures.
breasts? In MY Nintendo!?!
I know what wii game I'm buying next.
imagine the porn we could have gotten if team wasn't so fricking bad
would have loved a game just about first response style gameplay tbh
I'm pretty sure like 90% of them are locked behind some 'private' shitcord
many such cases with some games unfortunately
>imagine the porn we could have gotten if team wasn't so fricking bad
Trauma Team is the best game in the series, what the frick are you talking about?
My only gripe is that the game is too easy, but it makes sense, they don't want to give the difficulty of the other Trauma Center's when that gameplay is only 1/5th of the game.
God, I gotta replay the series again.
That game was great
When the goddamn hell are we getting another one?
Never.
Atlus only makes Persona and Persona-spinoffs now.
And yes, that new game they're making is a Persona spinoff. So is Shin Megami Tensei.
I would pay $60 for a Trauma Team x Persona spinoff. Demon surgery soap opera.
Could be kino. If they HAD to have the gay shitty school setting you could at least be in med school or a learning hospital. I mean the OG trauma center had you perform surgery on a bomb so it’s not too far fetched
I remember a friend who had the Wii version who told me it was harder, frick me the bomb diffusing mission was way harder. Really fun though.
As for the DS game, my game got soft locked at the final mission where the you have to draw the star to save the final person and for whatever reason it wouldn't accept it but the person didn't die either.
If they can make FE Sessions or whatever that idol game was, they should be able to. Hell Nocturne is being shilled everywhere and that has the magatamas that gives you can excuse to cut up demons and humans alike.
>If they can make FE Sessions or whatever that idol game was, they should be able to
Trauma Center would take too much effort for them.
Not in an expensive way, the games are cheap to make, they just don't have the talent with passion to create Trauma Center at this point.
The last Trauma game was like a decade and a half ago.
> The last Trauma game was like a decade and a half ago.
frick off no-
>released 2010
well sheeeit
I remember
The artstyle change in the 2nd game was a giant mistake tbh
the consequences of Persona 3 on Trauma Center
those damn triangles
how could i forget
I just remembered this existed. These were so fun I played both of them. I gotta replay them to see if they hold up.
>Casual little sister buys this
>Can't progress past the introduction of guilt
It was a fun game but it was really hard, if anyone here could get past the first X mission I'd be impressed
I did and I did it with one stylus because I didn’t have 2 styluses. I’ve never been so angry at a game.
that is what I remember about this game is that it was really fricking hard. i don't think i ever progressed past the first mission or two
i'd love to play it again now though
I managed to beat the game on an emulator, but couldn't get past the very first extra strain.
The intro of guilt was easy enough. The explosion of guilt at the end of chapter 6? Was fricking hard though, but I still managed it after trying again whenever I went for a shit.
I'm not surprised almost no one finished that game
I 100%'d both Under the Knife games with all highest ranks at least twice each since I wanted to do them with both single and double stylus methods
I remember the egotaptor video
Morbid.
Talking about medical Nintendo DS games, anybody else played Lifesigns: Hospital Affairs? It was like a weird mix between Phoenix Wright's VN parts and surgery minigames, it was pretty fun.
was this the one with the cancer cells that spikes in difficulty in africa, or is that the sequel
It's the first, that shit filtered me hard when I first played
I had to take a break because I feared scratching my screen
I have never heard anyone talk about this. I read about it in Nintendo Power years ago and then nothing.
I got it for my birthday when it came out. It was pretty fun but I preferred playing Mario & Luigi PiT more.
I played it and it was pretty fun.
Everyone posting DS games here... and not even obscure ones like 999 or something. Yall didn't grow up when the DS was popular
I was born in 1991.
you want obscure, we can go obscure.
>obscure ones like 999
>obscure
You now remember THAT song
I was sure this was an Ace Attorney song
Is this the Wii version?
No fricking moron it’s the original. The Wii was a remake of a DS game. Zoomers are so fricking dumb I swear just use the internet you moron
Chill dude, if I was a zoomer I wouldnt know there was a Wii version. I knew there was a DS version, but I didnt recognize the cover
Despite loving UtK1, I didn't find out there was a sequel until these memes since I was a Bong and it didn't come out over here. Got lucky and one my local game stores had a copy someone had imported and traded in to another branch, so they shipped it up for me
Also agree, love the anime artstyle and I'm not even really a weeb
You now remember the fad
captcha PANTG
now with MOAR! Krabs
I play it on my phone. It has a built-in stylus.
this and the sequel. DS was peak SOUL. Also sort of gave me a “silhouette” fetish if that’s a thing
damn i don't remember a single thing about this game other than seeing the cover
warioware but good and with hot faceless girls. Very “Japanese” like katamari
>in this ITT
this homie moronic
RIP in piece OP. It’s a real doggy dog world out there. I post like this really is a diamond dozen
>I post like this
another moronic homie
;-P
do not be upset
I only remember that fricker aletheia. x7 was impossible without 2 styli
>anons couldn’t beat Trauma center on both DS and Wii
frick I have to share a board with you Black folk?
>Atlus used to make games besides Persona
oh yeah
Wii version is better.
A rare example of the west fixing the cover for the japs
>collage of missized characters
No.
>literally also in the japanese cover
Did I say the Japanese cover was good?
>appealing artstyle
Yes
Pretty sure people still have fond memories of this game, it was pretty popular back in the day.
never beat it : /
I played the shit out of trauma center but to be fair to you I had totally forgotten it existed
I miss Angela's old design instead of the Kat ripoff in the Wii port.
I remember it... well mostly because of the proliferation of Gentle Breeze from the 2nd game.
Ended up spending far too much to get both games. The first one is still fairly cheap, but the 2nd is like 3 times the cost
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Only doable with mouse if you're willing to cheat and pause the game until you reposition your cursor.
ASCLEPIUS HELP ME
Worst strain EVER
Even Paraskevi was more tolerable than this shit.
I remember hating this until I took 10 minutes to sit down and figure out how it works. It's annoying because it's a timed puzzle they threw in the middle of the game, but once you figure it out, it's not THAT bad.
Best game no one talks about has to be 24 The Game. Actually a great movie tie in and is still worth playing today if you never tried it. Sad part is it's one of the games that doesn't like emulation all that much. You can get it running, but I could never fix the minimap glitch.
Ah frick I just lost
lost?
no, I found it
Is it good? Never even watched lost
Hey! I also tried emulating this game a couple of months ago. Never knew there was a 24 tie in until I searched up the 24 pachislot gambling game (which I DID know about because it's hilarious) and accidentally downloaded this. It seemed to work fine for me, I don't remember any issues besides it running a little slow until I turned down the resolution, but my rig is weak anyways.
How would you fix their designs?
>early game doing normal surgeries like removing broken glass from a car accident victim
>mid game disarm a bomb with surgical tools
>end game using time altering superpowers to fight a bioengineered super virus that will wipe out humanity while Persona music plays
Trauma Center was a JRPG in disguise. Which shouldn't be a surprise since Atlus made it but still.
>Vulnerability
now here's the real reason second opinion is better
It's a Persona 4 track in all but name. Same instruments and even a motif that I swear is straight out of P4 and not in TC.
Angie was really cute in the first game, it's a shame the artstyle shift made look 30.
why isn't there any tc guro, really want some rn
now that you mention it, this shit is like a gurogay dream, especially with stuff like this fricker existing.
guess it's too obscure to get that stuff.
I have so many ideas I wanna get out but I CAN"T DRAW for shit
Maybe I could train and use AI but idk yet. I did write fanfic related to it but purged it shortly after.
>I have so many ideas I wanna get out
are you gonna at least say them
MC's kidnapping and tortured for info, murder using the healing touch, healing touch variation (Anaesthesia) being misused and as a form of torture somewhat (since it "locks" vitals but doesn't stop the pain, user focuses on the target as they're forced to cut into themselves, not knowing when the touch's effects end and they bleed out), a heavily injured healing touch user dying quickly due to the effect's speed applied to themselves, old-fashioned limb amputation, etc,etc
where's the guilt based guro
Yeah I know but what's there to show? A bunch of lacerations? Still a good idea tho
>why isn't there any tc guro
because the game turned organs into bloppy balloons and lacerations are literally painted on top of them.
Where is her hairline
looks pretty normal to me
>starts off simple enough
>difficulty ramps up exponentially
Now that I think about it, Trauma Center probably was one of the many reasons why my ex broke up with me. Game can get brutal.
>Trauma Center probably was one of the many reasons why my ex broke up with me.
What's the story?
It's not very interesting.
It's just the typical story of being young and naïve, making mistakes, and her sisters all getting married and pushing out babies while I'd yet to even propose to her.
It was for the best. My financial situation is pretty meh atm (can support myself fine, but definitely not a family).
I meant just the parts related to TC, but sorry to hear that. Compared to the worst breakup stories I've heard it's not so bad, better luck next time.
>I meant just the parts related to TC
Oh, duh!
I bought it for her as a birthday present as she was starting to get into gaming, and also liked doctor shit. She used to watch Grey's Anatomy all the time. Little did I know that Trauma Center would be so difficult. The relationship was pretty rocky at that time, so seeing her metaphorically beat her head against a wall sure didn't help.
I had the Wii ver. Loved the shit out of it
The Wii U was the perfect opportunity for a next gen, high quality Trauma Center game, but I guess Atlus stopped caring after they realized they could milk Persona 4. Also TMS having a troubled development probably didn't help.
>lawyer friend hates ace attorney but loves trauma center
>surgeon friend hates trauma center but loves ace attorney
I wish I wasn't memed into medicine
The Hispanic nig cycle is real and I'm tired of all this shit
This game was legitimately too hard for me as a kid. I quit near the end when you had to save the patient zero of each of the viruses. Dumbass segment, they could have let these people died and burned the body and everything would have been hunky dory but somehow it's a game over if I fail?
Cranberries
I remember
