It's a 2005 freeware indie horror sci-fi point n' click adventure game made by an indie UK studio. It only takes a couple of hours to finish. I remember liking it when I played it 15 years or so ago.
Met a dude in a mmo in the late '00's or really early 10's, I think it was in Dungeons and Dragons Online. I was new to MMO games and cultures, and they were playing a drow wizard chick that hit me up OOCly and began teaching me the ropes of RP. They brought up that they worked on a few indie games, and I asked which ones, was told The White Chamber in audio or music or both. Sent me stuff made for the game and random dev stuff, all while trying to get closer and closer to me. Also started to try to guilt me into doing erotic role play with them. I was weirded out by it, but tried to be polite because holy shit a cool game dev friend! Then they got weird wanting to, and I shit you not roleplay as my "mother" who was actually my "father" for some weird gay incest shit, as well as trying to get info on where I lived. I got the frick out, deleted the game account and nuked the MSN messenger account I was using to talk to them and did my best to forget it ever happened. I mentioned it once before in a thread I think on Ganker years back when the game was brought up and there were claims that it was done by someone not involved with the game, but I was sent stuff like storyboards and concept art/sketches and early versions of the content in the game. I'd be lying if I said it did not traumatize me slightly. I was in my early twenties and so not a kid, so I'm not sure if that's technically grooming at that age still, but that's the entire story. Ended up avoiding MMO games for years after that shit happened.
Sounds like you led a homosexual on amd were too autistic to tell. How do you get traumatized in your 20s by internet messages like Black person turn off your computer.
If you're going to make a fake story you could at least write it so you don't come off looking like an autistic moron.
Though diluting terms until they don't mean anything anymore is common of your kind. You can't help it.
Sexual grooming doesn't know age people. Me and my family was shocked when my grandfather asked me about the meaning of "boihole." Apparently he was in touch with a pervert on facebook who wanted to make him the world first geriatric twink.
I do remember playing and finishing this game on the same night when the blood moon happened, like all the way back in 2008. Couldn't sleep after finishing it.
Looks cool please tell me more about it

One of the dudes involved in making The White Chamber tried to groom me online. Awesome game otherwise.
Tell us more.

No that's called "Hitting on you".

Do you still got that concept art and shit?
>I'm my twenties
>Grooming me
Lmao
How old do you think a concept artist for an indie game is gonna be? Some pedo in his 70's? Dude was probably younger than you, kek
sorry about that anon but it's good you decided to avoid mmos
not only because of that but because they suck ass

GUMMY BEARS
OP wrong again as usual.
What an amazing game! Did the guy go on to do anything else?
Not as far as I'm aware, which is a damn shame.
That's not Cave Story though...
PS. From modern titles, Stardew Valley dev deserves a mention. Based autist, one man army that guy.
Still think about this to this day. Always Found it upsetting I'm ways other horror games never managed
I'm really put off by the ugly Yu-Gi-Oh drawing style on the player character
