I liked the smoke powers, the original games never seemed appealing to me
they had a vision and had the right people to make it
small map and small memory size for enemy follow/respawn distance proobs

Not getting paper powers was a letdown, was it a DLC tease that never planned out?
It sounds like they considered adding the power at one point but the work to do so went beyond the scope of the DLC, so they decided against it.
i like to describe this game as the best tech demo ever developed.
its short as frick and there is not that much to it other than combat and almost no exploration or secondary objectives.
All this said, ive replayed it too many times so they definetly had something going on here.
Graphics quality really plateau'd around 2013-15
Some other games that barely aged visually included Arkham Knight, Ass Creed Unity, Mad Max, and Dying Light.
If I had to guess, it's because they had to make the textures look good instead of just making the textures large
