Input Latency Reduction

Found the single most autistic input latency reduction guide last week. It's made gaming feel so much better over the last 2 days, as well as my drawing tablet.

I'd find it hard to believe there's anything he didn't cover, but if you have anything else please share.

      Ha, relatable.
Suck dick at online vidya, set everything at low, play at 240hz, still suck dick. Use the nvidia hardcore gamer features, still suck dick.

Shit like this only helps the 0.0001%

    Stealing

Personally, the 2 things that make the most noticeable difference are disabling desktop composition for .exe files in W10 and using Hidusbf to overclock my arcade sticks to 1000hz.

I have thought about messing with timer resolution and K-Boost, but I don't even see those on this doc.

Is there a good list of Windows services we can comfortably disable? I dont need all this shit running in the background.

Services are kind of one of those things where you make a back up, then frick with shit for a day, till you figure out. Too many different versions of windows where they do different things. Just start off slow and look for the obvious ones.

Anon, this goes over IRQ sharing, and setting driver affinity's. This is shit I forgot existed, especially the MSI interrupt shit.

You have a problematic driver. Check the IRQ sharing part of the guide, and if it's not that, make sure your drivers are up to date.

Modern consoles have horrible input lag. You have to go back to the SNES era for consoles to win.

If input latency is so important to you then know that the last low input latency CPU released on the market was Intel's 10th gen Comet Lake. After that they begin taking IO's and shit out of the die to make more space for cores and thus latency shot up.
Most people still don't know about this but when youtubers start talking about it those Cpu's will skyrocket in price, especially for their use in emulation.

Schizo thread, he doesn't even provide any proof for most of the stuff he advises people to do.
