i literally owned a ps3 and played cod on it. same as the 360. there was no crossplay in those days so i had to buy a whole console just to play with friends on the other system. the multiplayer was the exact same. any differences were subjective like having to use L1/R1 to shoot which was less comfortable than the xbox triggers. but 99% of people didn't care about that.

I've heard that gaming is actually a pretty small part of Microsoft overall, and they make most of their money from other sectors. So my thought is this, couldn't Microsoft just axe their xbox/gaming division entirely in favor of focusing on real money making ventures?
