All pokemon take slightly more damage when switching in because they're "off guard"
Bring Pursuit back.
These two
Maybe make it so every Pokemon takes a little bit of damage when they switch.
Make a move that sets those Steel hazards from Copperajah's G-Max, this also nerfs Fairy.
>G-Max
So not in gen 9?
Pokemon forced to switch out become demoralized. They will suffer either an attack, defense, or accuracy penalty for the remainder of the match. The penalty stacks each time it is switched out
Switch-ins have -2 priority for their next action in battle
>introduce a mecanic so switching is less OP
It’s called not playing 6v6
That's gay. Why don't you just tell to suck a dick you fricking gay
Showdown trannies neck yourselves
pokemon that don't switch get to use an attack, and you're allowed to use an unconventional attack to deal a lot of damage to an opponent that switches.

Switching is a core mechanic
Just nerf regenerate
full team battles
can't switch if everyone's on the field
so basically the gpu explodes?
>what is metronome
Low elo homosexual
Why? If switching was made bad then it just becomes a series of elemental rock-paper-scissors with whoever made the correct lead choice at a clear advantage.
They already did.
It's called Doubles format.
Doubles is still very heavy on switching with the various moves that help you pivot.
Switching is fine. You run the risk of eating one (or two in doubles) big attacks on switch in.
lose 1 PP on all moves when switching
Steel-type move that sets a new hazard. Called like Steel Snare? Activates and is consumed when the opponent switches out. Can be cleared with Rapid Spin or Court Change or whatever. Deals 33% damage
Also bring back Pursuit, change it to a Fighting or Normal type move so Psychic's aren't so oppressed this time.
actually sounds super moronic
"lol I protect so now I have a 3% boost in EVERY single stat"
>you protect
>foe attacks
>both now have 3% stat boost
>it doesn't matter
alternatively
>you protect
>foe switches pokemon
>wasted a turn protecting, foe has free switch-in
Remove Heavy-Duty boots.
Introduce a cooldown on switching.
Ok Hanke
entry hazards aren't balanced enough to remove heavy-duty boots
some sort of field move you can use on your opponent's side to force their pokemon to take damage when they switch in
you could have different variations of it, like a version which can be used multiple times (encouraging you even more to stay in, so that you can ugprade the field status to higher tiers), a version that deals type-based damage (so that otherwise weak pokemon with access to this version are especially appealing), a version that inflicts a status, or even a version that lowers your opponent's stats (given that actual stat-dropping moves are nigh useless)
>hey wouldn't it be so funny and clever if I said all the hazards that exist but pretend their new
No.
>switching out the turn after switching in gives you negative priority
>Negative priority switch in
This is just nu-teleport, which is desirable, it literally grants a free switch in for any mon
Switched in pokemon are confused
Just add more hazards.
Scorching embers (fire stealth rock)
Black ice (ice stealth rock etc etc)
Or more pursuit level secondary effects.
Any move that can't miss also does 50% damage to retreating pokemon.
so frick grass types?
Just nerf healing, morons.
Monster Crown has great switching system.
