Why would they think when you're paying anyway paytatd
i was like 9 years old my dad paid
didnt need em. too busy fricking my mimilop and lucario
Because theyre furshit, now if only Lubecario was given the same treatment
Game Freak wanted you to use the KANTOOOOOOOOOOO eeveelutions instead
there was no eevee until the post game
Schizo and moronic is a deadly combination.
Please explain us how so we can all witness your moronation at its full potential
That's one reason why I'm fully against giving Espeon and Umbreon sun/moon stone evolutions like I've seen some people suggest. You can evolve them any time you want just by raising their friendship but you'd have to wait until the devs decide to give you access to stones if they evolved with stones. Plus it takes away an actual interesting way of evolving them.
Interesting evolution methods get in the way of easily acquiring.
>You can evolve them any time you want just by raising their friendship
Game Freak will just disable friendship like they did in the KANTO remakes.
Friendship worked, just not time. If you get the Natdex upgrade you can get Crobat and Blissey.
not for lets go johto
remember when pokemon had post-game?
that part of the game where you'd have better alternatives?
Who cares about the main games when you could use both of them in Explorers of Sky and Ranger?
You still needed to get to the post game to use them in Explorers, the post-post game if you're a homosexual that played as an Eevee.
And Ranger is a one-time use.
>You still needed to get to the post game to use them in Explorers
Yeah, but the postgame is fun and the same size as the main game.
>And Ranger is a one-time use.
You can catch a new one if you used it and carry it trough the entire game as a pet.
I remember doing this with Ninetales.
You can literally get Leafeon by the 3rd gym and Glaceon before the 7th
Yes, and you can trade in an Arceus from the 1st gym.
You can't. Back in Diamond and Pearl time, the only way to get Eevee was through Bebe. If you've only played Platinum, you might not see the issue with this. But, it was locked behind the National Dex in Diamond and Pearl (and BDSP).
>not playing platinum
sounds like a you (moron) problem
Imagine being underaged and not playing DP on launch.
DP locking 15-20% of its new Pokémon, mostly cross-gen evolutions, behind postgame was moronic, especially when the Professor of the region specialized in studying evolution.
Is Sinnoh the only region ever that locks new additions away in the national dex?
just new evolutions? if you count gen 2 not really having a national dex, then yeah
houndour doesn't show up in GSC or HGSS until you get to Kanto
I think there is one in RSE but I can't remember
beldum for rse
You can use both of them in DPPt though?
only after the national dex is obtained in dp
You have to be a postgame enjoyer to understand
Because Masuda in his infinite wisdom wanted a Pokedex of 151 because of KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, and also have it be primarily composed of his favorite type, water, leaving nonexistent room for types such as ice, a type that SHOULD'VE been well-represented in the literal cold mountainous region.
>a type that SHOULD'VE been well-represented in the literal cold mountainous region.
Only Mt Coronet is cold.
So the areas north of Mt. Coronet are actually sunshine and rainbows and all of that snow was fake?
it's dust not snow moron
>It's ok when johto locks johto pokemon behind postgame tho
Kanto is not postgame
Nice meme.
>the literal fricking credits roll after you defeat Lance
>"DURR IT'S NOT POSTGAME"
no they fricking don't.
>play Sonic Adventure 2
>credits roll after you beat hero story
>"huh... I guess the dark story is just post-game hurrrr"
>completely different game and series.
kys yourself.
>posting false equivalence
Except SA2 was marketed as a game where you get to see the perspective of the story from both sides as well as a "what-if" ending where the dark side wins. And based on the track record Sonic Adventure 1 gave as a game with multiple scenarios you need to complete to unlock the finale, it was only natural to assume that the game wasn't truly over until you unlocked and completed the final story.
Pokemon has no track record, the only thing that unlocked after completing the Pokemon League in RGBY was Cerulean Cave and Mewtwo, who are acknowledged as postgame content.
Sure, but Sonic Adventure 1 also set that precedent in a series that didn't have it before either.
If a game has a second credits point that's tied to new content I consider that the true end of the game, in Sonic's case it'd be the bonus last story of each game, in GSC it's Red.
