I think Apple probably considered that as something that could happen and still said frick it. At this point they are trying to avoid having their App Store exclusivity torn away from them by the EU, so I don't think that they actually give a frick about what Nintendo wants.

With IOS theres clear conflict of interest as most of Nintendo's mobile revenue is from IOS not Android and that same partner is also ripping on them with these emulators they hate so much they sue anyone.

iOS literally has a Files app that allows you to download, store, copy, move, unzip, even .7z, everything you'd want out of a File browser. If you're too moronic to select "Save to Files" and open the archive then open it in Delta, then you're beyond saving.

The WARS series has existed since the NES as Famicom Wars, im sure there were also Game Boy Wars and Game Boy Color Wars.
There is also the Wario Land games and Metroid II. Super Mario Land isn't too bad either. Basically just all Nintendo games. GB/GBC had a whole lot of shovelware slop although for a kid in the 90's some of it was entertaining enough to hold a child's attention for a car ride.

Nintendo's franchises have always been strong. It also had Tetris which came packed in and was definitely getting a ton of play time. It was basically a dumbed down NES so for most today who didn't grow up with it I can't imagine they would enjoy playing most of the games. GBA definitely felt like the logical final edition to the Gameboy handheld lineup and it was definitely solid no doubt. It was backwards compatible and had much better games. If only the soundchip it had wasn't so shitty.

99% of the time sharp bilinear is not even filtering. it integer scales as much as possible and only if there's remaining area to fill it bilinear upscales. you end up with something sharper than bilinear or possibly a straight integer scaled image while cleaning up the wobbling pixels of nearest neighbor.

There is also the Wario Land games and Metroid II. Super Mario Land isn't too bad either. Basically just all Nintendo games. GB/GBC had a whole lot of shovelware slop although for a kid in the 90's some of it was entertaining enough to hold a child's attention for a car ride.

Nintendo's franchises have always been strong. It also had Tetris which came packed in and was definitely getting a ton of play time. It was basically a dumbed down NES so for most today who didn't grow up with it I can't imagine they would enjoy playing most of the games. GBA definitely felt like the logical final edition to the Gameboy handheld lineup and it was definitely solid no doubt. It was backwards compatible and had much better games. If only the soundchip it had wasn't so shitty.
That is a shame since WL4 is a fantastic game. I need to get around to playing the GBA Final Fantasy games.

99% of the time sharp bilinear is not even filtering. it integer scales as much as possible and only if there's remaining area to fill it bilinear upscales. you end up with something sharper than bilinear or possibly a straight integer scaled image while cleaning up the wobbling pixels of nearest neighbor.

iOS has had a file browser app for many years now.
I just toss the rom files on to my iCloud account and download them from the app. Pretty sure you should be able to connect it to your PC and use the Apple Devices app too.

GBC isn't ideal because the screen space meant an abbreviated translation. SNES is best. My favorite is SNES with Orchestrated Music.
Dragon Warrior has charm of its own though. Not like it takes much time, can play the SNES one after.

No, but mGBA has an extension interface that allow games to trigger native code (usually just stdout right now). So it would take a new fork and Bespoke(tm) implementation in the ROMhack to do that
