Is $1200 USD for this computer a good deal?
It looks like he bought a prebuilt and is now selling at a huge loss. I’m Australian btw
Asus strix 2080ti
Intel i9-9900k
Asus Maximus motherboard
1tb ssd
2tb HDD
32gb gksill trident ram
850w psu
Lian Li dynamic pc-011 case
no not really
1200€ for this are really good price!
for this price take it!
btw check if it s at decent/good condition and doesn't have problems
No disc drive? But a desperate pathetic samegay in another thread told me that every pc owner has one.
The disc drive is outside of the box
Sure, bro. It's just like your totally real gf in Canada.
don't know about his imaginary gf but is right about disc drives
They’re dirt cheap, literally no reason not to have one unless you’re an actual child who never had cds, or own one of those “ergonomic” cases that don’t have 3.5 bays” anymore
>2080Ti
>9900K
Not worth buying. Simply buying new would get you better for less.
Post where I can buy that for less.
If OP had the stones to assemble his own hardware he wouldn't have made the thread.
If I built my own, with a 2060 GPU, it would be $1500 AUD or $1000 USD. I’m Australian btw
I have a lot of FUD about buying this now after you said that, can you care to explain the red flags? It just looks like a good deal to me, just some guy that made a mistake by buying a prebuilt, and is now trying to desperately resell it.
Yeah but that was before the chip shortage right? Isn’t this a good deal relative to the current market
Doesn't mean there's something wrong with it, but if you're going to spend a thousand bucks, which is a lot, save a little, get to two and buy new instead, new is always better
CPU during COVID
GPU before COVID
RAM was cheap
Motherboard was the most expensive part
PSU from 2014
Disk Drives from 2012
Case from 2012
Are you moronic?
I don't like the non-descript drives and power supply, that's usually where prebuilts skimp out a lot
>Spending over a thousand on used goods
You're never gonna make it bro, that shit won't last a year
He's clearly in contact with that guy and haggled, moron.
to old to be sold at that price
it's not trash tho
>$1800 AUD
Frick no.
I got a 10850k for $450 AUD
RTX 2080 for $860 (2019)
Try $1400 AUD
what about the motherboard, ram, psu, disk drives and etc, you mentally ill incel?
Looks decent at a glance, the problem with these prebuilts is you have no idea what the mileage is on those parts. That card could last you a week if the guy selling is a piece of shit.
That's a really good price.
I’m getting convinced to just build a PC myself by reading these responses, but can anyone clarify what is meant by “mileage”? Like are people talking about crypto mining or just general use? Not buying it anymore btw
they’re telling you not to buy used pieces of already years old hardware when new flagships will comfortably last you 8+ years
