Technically the causal mode isn't PvP. The points you get in the end is based solely off your performance. You just have to play it along side another person.
The game forces you to do a few battle rounds after you unlock it, but it eventually gives you to option to set it back to casual; but you'll still be forced to do one battle mode after 5 casual plays.
Of course casual gives less rank points. Best I've got in it is 35, while battle always gives 60 for a win.

Been noticing this a lot since I hit gold. Almost feels like playing with an entirely different community at that rank. A lot less people using emotes at this point. They don't have to clap after every simple fairway hit but most people are silent even on clutch shots.
You can still whale up the club chests. At diamond rank it gets dangerous to queue up when the courses are using the champion tee spots. If you get a dude with level 10+ clubs you're just completely screwed.
At least you can't bring that shit into tournaments and it's easy enough to reach platinum.

What are the rewards you get for watching ads? I skipped the ads policy when making my account and now there doesn't seem to be a way to change it.
you can shorten the time it takes to get that 8hr chest on the main screen by 4hrs 4x a day by watching an ad.
