Yeah there was bugs but the story and side quests were generally great. The shooting was okay, the AI bad and the damage scaling/RPG shit was god awful. It was a blast to just get a really broken weapon and destroy people though.

I don't have any expectations, other than it being a shooter. I haven't followed anything about the developement, but I saw the game was a buggy mess at release so I didn't play it.

Unironically? You can give it a shot already if it's on sale for real cheap. It's basically Far Cry but in a city. You may have some fun with it, but that's about it.

I ran it on my 2080 non-super on high with dlss on 1440 at 60 fps just fine. Without dlss there's some huge dips but this was also at release.

  6. 8 months ago

It was fine on PC since launch, but they have barely added anything new that aren't console bug fixes. The cop spawns are still not fixed for example. They did add some quest and some gear though, but I would wait until the DLC drops and hope they finally redeemed themselves

  7. 8 months ago

no. I've beaten it twice but that's only because I felt the need to squeeze my $30 out of it. Every aspect of the game is shallow, from the RPG elements to the gameplay and the world design. It's an incredibly bland game with stylish veneer, and it gets boring real fast

Yes, at least once. May be worth waiting a month for the large update that is about to come out. I started playing it for the first time recently and am having fun. There isn't really anything too substantial to the roleplay decisions - you're kind of just along for the ride as V, but it's an enjoyable one. Solid 7/10. Not perfect, very immersive, lots of interesting things to do and see. I really enjoy a lot of the side quests. Occasional small bugs. If you liked Dues Ex you'll probably like this one. Really neat hacking mechanics and multiple ways to handle combat. Implants are pretty b ased too. Game really picks up after Act 1 imo.

    It's been good since 1.3

But I'd recommend waiting for 2.0 at the end of the month to get the uh really good version I guess.
The update completely reworks the vanilla game. Movement, perks, cyberware, AI, cops now chase you on the streets. The really beefed that shit up (and took obvious inspiration from modders while they did it).

There are multiple endings, and generally all of them are pretty great in their own ways. I'd just say get the ending/story you want by making the choices in the moment that you perceive to be right. Then look up the other endings, or make save slots and reload a few hours back.

                Anonymous

Depending in the relationships you build during the side quests you can have different endings, but at the very end. The rest doesnt change so much

                Anonymous

There's like 5(?) or more different endings without including the romance ones.

                Anonymous

It's extremely linear and the main story is legit like ten to twelve hours long. Most of the game is side stuff. There are multiple endings and your character ends up the same no matter which you pick. I hope the new patch adds some storyline and more choices,

                Anonymous

You really need to play the side missions to get the most out of Cyberpunk. On average I'd say they're a little bit worse than Witcher 3, but there are higher highs that are definately worth experiencing and add to the main story.

It is still not very good compared to other weapons, even in killing mode with all the good perks.
It just uses too much ammo because the enemies just sponge it. And guns re not suposed to spend so much so you are uite limited and ue your time to make ammo all the time.
The arasaka smart SMG prototype or the kang tao smart shotgun are much better weapons even without hitting the head, but they don't randomly tell stupid stuff or call you a killer

Knives are too technical for me. It just slows down the fight pace too much, unless you are one of the crazy speedrunners that just fricking fly while trowing them

in this version I went with throwing knives coupled with sneak, optical camo, double jump, blade hands and enough hacking to induce cyberpsychosis.

Get the biggest tough guy to go on a rampage and then turn on optical camo to jump the npcs. Finishing off stragglers with throwing knives

Won’t play any game that uses Heckin Big Chungus Keanu and trannime to convince morons to play it.
    Still probably better than Schlopfield

Cyberpunk 2077 is presently not worth engaging with in any manner, particularly considering the substantial size of the new patch, which deems it almost a new release. Regrettably, this update is anticipated to be riddled with a comparable if not greater number of glitches compared to the game's initial launch. This situation mirrors the pattern observed with the comprehensive patches for titles such as Raven's Cry, Hydrophobia, and Fallout 76. It is prudent to safeguard your funds and instead observe gameplay, peruse reviews, and perhaps find amusement while retaining your finances.

I've been playing it for the first time last month and honestly, its ok
    >gunplay is great. played with pistols and they still feel good hours later upgraded, but even without any points spec'd into other guns you can still enjoy them
    >RPG elements are alright but very linear, your choices either depend on your intro quest or street cred which is just another tier of leveling
    >exploration is ok, almost every corner of the city has something hidden and to explore
    >story, subjective. I started with corpo and now its just a revenge story. Don't know about the others
    >hacking powers and minigames are ok
    Now the bad
    >driving, the absolutely worth part of the game but thank frick they have a shitload of fast travel points everywhere to skip that shit
    >inventory management and equipment, you can barely see what you have equipped and what are upgrades
    >grenades are completely worthless except for the one that knocks them down
    >stealth is either skyrim tier broken or completely useless
tl;dr just pirate it and at least try it

stealth gets really good with the dedicated tree. Enjoyed walking in front of NPCs without optical cam under a street light and them getting mildly suspicious about rats

Biggest blunder IMO was the aug system. it has some noteable stuff that really changes how you approach maps like double/high jump and optical camo. But the vast majority of them are either highly situational get out of jail free cars or just super lame passive buffs to base stats. Ideally it should be like the deus sexes were almost all the augs change the gameplay style fundamentally

Yes the high jump is the absolute best aug in the game. The amount of utility that it offers both in combat and outside it is insane and is the single best ugprade I've seen so far

      >driving, the absolutely worth part of the game
Just buy the coyote, the rest are trash
      >inventory
Sell everything except your favorite stuff at the moment and maybe iconic stuff
      >grenades are worthless
True, they are only worth in case of crafting ability + sandevistan
      >steath
Depends of which one, but it is definitelly broken. The cammo skin is found t a doctor like is fricking nothing and used correctly it breaks the game

    >16 days till dlc and no patch
I've heard due to Steam policy it can't be added till the 9th at the earliest

Keanu has 3 braincells, he needs a lot of time to ponder.

    >cant frick her if you are a manly man complete with Penis 2
    >can frick her if you are a fake woman with a feminine penis
what did the devs mean by this?
