Yes if you have money to throw around. OLED monitors finally exist, so the only real advantages consoles still have is HDR working consistently.

If you know what you're doing, sure.
Or you're just poor and stupid. Which is a potent combo.

Yeah sure why not? Do you mean because of the price of GPUs?

Just buy some second hand RTX3000 or RX6000 stuff. Problem solved.

If OP wants a crypto mined piece of shit. Yeah, okay.

Crypto mining has GPUs sustain a constant workload, which fricks them up less than fluctuating ones

You know honestly this shit get regurgitated so often but do you have any stats to back up that those ex mining cards are a month away from death? I'm constantly buying and selling used cards for my business. Endless RX480/580 cards that were definitely used for mining for god knows how many years and I've never ever run into a faulty card or had a customer come back to me with a problem.

          >You know honestly this shit get regurgitated so often but do you have any stats
Ask a re-seller like this guy to run diagnostics on the card and then suddenly he ain't gonna want to talk about stats anymore.

I do run diagnostics on all parts

Then why are you asking for the stats? You larping idiot.

I don't need to larp some of us actually have real world experience. I asked for stats because he's (you) are claiming those cards are all on deaths door. The burden of proof is on you after making the uninformed claim.

You're Mr. Real who runs diagnostics on all his cards. You already have the stats then. Don't you?
You're never going to convince me crypto mined cards aren't factually degraded. Let me guess you re-sell old HDDs and SSDs to right?

My last build was in 2018, cooler master ATX case, 1050 TI and Kaby Lake. Bought a new power supply about 2 years ago to replace the old one but yeah, only thing I would have to reuse is the 650 watt power supply and case if it fits everything.

Oh and I mean, I could take the case out the pc part list but its still a lot of money for everything else

Trying to be modest and reusing parts of my current build, it still costs a lot. Need to change motherboard, CPU, GPU and add a new SSD, I'm paying the price of full build

Its still too expensive but idk, wait until income taxes and do it then i guess

Why is that sata drive so expensive? 1TB drives are well below $100 now.

Oh goodie. Well I just bought a 2TB fast M.2 drive in december for the lowest price I've ever seen. Everything gets shit again.

when was your last build? Assuming I'm understanding you correctly you are reusing that case and cpu cooler which are pretty recent.

Just use your old case, the 4000d is an overpriced meme case (I fell for the meme) also get one of those thermalright two tower coolers instead. you can also buy one generation behind for cpu/mobo unless you really need the cpu for something to save a lot of money to put into your graphics card.

why are you wasting all that money on high end parts with diminishing returns if you are just gunna hook it up to a 1080p 60hz monitor?

so he can get 30fps@1080p with raytracing on medium (dlss performance mode)

It's pretty sad that for the price I bought my 5700XT at almost 4 years ago my only 'upgrade' options are at about the same level of performance. If you already have usable hardware there's no point buying anything right now.

No. Not only is the price too high for what you get, the prices are volatile. You could pay out the ass for an expensive rig, have it die and then suddenly the latest gpu crisis tripled the price of your replacement leaving you completely and utterly fricked. It's so far removed from being worth it it is comical.
