im totally disillusioned with warno and with wargame. i started playing them in multiplayer more and more and i was having a lot of fun and then i realized the entire game is just line of sight simulator. the only two inputs into this game are line of sight and weapon range. your entire game is just line of sight and range. move the guy out of line of sight. move your guy to get line of sight on the guy. line of sight and range. shoot the guy with the range when you have the line of sight. move your guy out of the way by breaking line of sight. line of sight and range. line of sight and range. move the tank to get the line of sight. put him in the forest to break the line of sight. line of sight and range. line of sight and range. oh no he has line of sight but my tank has the slightly better range. line of sight and range.
I really want to like Wargame and SD, but can't really get into the whole gameplay thing of having scale of what general would control, but also having to micromanage each unit.
That was my experience too. I hate strategy games where success depends on APM. I don’t want to have to go into each individual unit to toggle hold fire during every heated battle.

Just play Wargame or wait for some other game. Warno is a piece of shit, they have no intention to fix their terrible UI, despite promising realism half the units in game are protoshit unicorns from future, the whole thing is extremely unbalanced and is just plain not fun to play.
It MIGHT be worth pirating to play the single-player campaigns when they come out but they would have to deeply overhaul the whole game to make it worth paying money for.
