I made it to ~240 quest points like this but got stuck on a handful like legends quest, tribal totem, darkness of hollowvale, wanted, and a few more i cant remember. Most fun way to play the game though.
What happens when you get stuck in a game? Do you just give up and never play it again? I refuse to believe you've never been completely stuck in a game unless you don't actually play many games or stick to multiplayer stuff.
Nobody uses a guide because they can't figure out a quest. They use a guide so they don't walk all the way to the other end of the solar system to deliver the dongle, only to have to walk back to the bank and come back because whats his name also wanted a rope to tie off his dick with.
it's possible but very fricking annoying
people always praise osrs for it's unique and high effort quests but in reality 99% of players just use a guide (or the runelite plugin ugh) and spacebar through all the dialogue
the main reason not using a guide is annoying is having to guess and collect random items to actually move the quest foward
it's really fricking annoying to be deep into a cave only to find out you didn't bring a tinderbox or a spade or some other random item to actually progress and having to backtrack really far
the newskool quests (and some 2006/2007 quests) are unironically better in this aspect - they usually clue you in for what you need better or straight up have the item close by in the quest
Why even play Runescape today beyond doing some F2P quests for nostalgia
The whole point was childhood imagination getting lost in a massive expansive world, not xp grind and nolifing
It's gone now, all that magic
What a moronic question
Of course it is entirely possible those who wrote the guides had to complete it first in order to write those guides
Most quests are intuitive enough that you’ll get by if you read the dialogue and journals but we all know that’s asking far too much
There's a plugin that solves this for you. Stupid RuneScape gays b***h about cheat clients but use the official cheat client and all it's cheat plugins all the time. RuneScape community is fricked.
RuneScape quests were great but they're just super confusing. Without a guide they're 1/10.
>Is it possible to play the game the way it was intended?
Fricking zoomers.
No
Honestly some parts were pretty fricked

You're moronic if you use guides in any game.
enjoy spending the equivalent of a full-time job for a year trying to finish runescape
I will enjoy that.

Yes, but you won't have much fun doing it

Can be done, but be prepared to be stucked on some parts for a while cause you forgot some rope, tinderbox or a spade.

Did you pay, Ganker?
Shamelessly for convenience
If more quests offered paid skips I absolutely would
No. I've got the overall strategy down so slide puzzles are just a time consuming annoyance at worst

Frick no, I've always liked puzzles like that.
Why did slide puzzles become the go to lazy filler puzzle for all types of game?
you will not beat mournings end pt 2 without a guide. the fricking 2(3?) tier light maze is god damn bullshit
that's how you're supposed to do it
