Nah, my launch PS4 was dying and I needed a new system. Bizarrely a PS4 pro and a PS5 were around the same price. I beat out the bots for an online purchase at Walmart on launch and it fills my role fine as a PS4 replacement. No complaints on that end.
If I was buying one for PS5 exclusives, I would absolutely be pissed though.

Never understood why people rank Demon's Souls lower than the original game. Other than changing the fat aristocrats appearance, I didn't find anything worse about it. It is a good remake in that it doesn't allow for infinite grass use, plays smooth, has insane loading speed, and is the same game as before in general but with better performance and massively better visuals. Unless you didn't care for Demon's Souls originally, which is completely fair, because it was an odd duck.

Not true. Pentiment ran at 120fps on PS5 while the Series X version was stuck at 60fps. Hi-Fi Rush on PS5 has higher quality shadow than on Xbox Series X. Sea of Thieves on PS5 has better shadows and draw distance than Xbox.
the fricking 32x did in 1 year what the PS5 hasnt in 4
why is this "generation" (which seriously should just be called the ps4 pro) so unbelievably hilariously fricked?
I don’t know but what’s weirder is snoys defending it. I think I’d respect them more if they said “yeah the exclusive situation sucks right now it’s unacceptable but it is what it is, I’m on this platform for now” but instead they do a ton of mental gymnastics to explain why it doesn’t matter and another set of gymnastics to explain why the future looks even worse with regards to exclusives.
It's seven years old, runs and looks great, and is already backwards compatible on PS5 with nextgen updates. And, naturally, for PC it's even better. Why the frick would they spend resources to remake it? Didn't Forbidden West only sell about half as much as HZD? Does this franchise even have a future? What's going on I don't understand gaming anymore.
They should have released it by now? PS4 Pro was released 3 years after the original PS4, the same time they released PS4 Slim. PS5 Slim has already been out for nearly 6 months now.
gens don't make sense anymore, no one else cares for it except normies who don't know any better and just want to buy the latest thing

Shut the frick up. Free Palestine

You don't need Xbox consoles to play them.
Still not buying a PS5

Still not buying a PS5, shill
Ironically had more fun arguing about dumb shit than actually playing any of this gen's games. I'm going to use my time better.
>No good games

What games did the 32x have again?
>Horizon: Zero Dawn Remake

Foamstars released?
Pretty crazy how Nintendo has completely given up on releasing a 9th gen system.
No one cares about Nintendo's hardware, they only care about the exclusives
>four years into the generation is when it started
That’s sad
Didn't Sony state its almost over.
halfway
So this is the power of a mid generation console.....woah...
I am still on PS4. Waiting to see if PS5 Pro will be any good.

It's halfway over.
Hell, nothing much happened this generation outside of handheld PC gaming.
what are you talking about?
xbox fricking died activision died bethesda died
To be fair, all western devs died
Japan is king for vidya
baldurs gate?
>next-gen has finally started?
We're 3.5 years into this gen.
I hate the glossy surface of the PS5 so much, it doesn't even look good, they somehow made it look cheap
Not until it has a game. just one game.
any gen without an xbox is next gen
Switch 2 is going to annihilate the PS5 so badly it won't be funny.
>Is it safe to say that next-gen has finally started?
Yes, its systems and games made pre 2014 or 'finalgen' and that's been true for a decade.
