pick multiple: >learn to curve bullets into weakpoints >learn when you're actually better off using your secondary >actually build your secondary to support your primary >don't build the Lok like a moron
post you're build, secondary included
Explosions after 3rd shot add decent amount of DPS. The gun is too ammo hungry though. I recommend running Breach Cutter with plasma trails to save lok ammo.
You use the explosive round OC and you aim to let go at 3 locks on only 1 bug ideally. You aim at the bug on the edge so you only get 1 bug with lock ons and you let go at 3 each time. Doing this maximizes the explosions per normal bullets and once you get good at it you'll learn to blow up swarms with minimal bullets and do things like take out an entire group of swarmers with 1 bullet
I haven't finished a single season because I always get bored midway the performance pass. Imo this game needs more biomes, random events, enemies and more cave generation variety. It has enough weapons, perks and ocs.
>worse map design (with the exception of Dark KINOval) >worse special infected >worse survivors >worse survivor vs infected balance >worse atmosphere >worse AI
Nah.
I'm totally new at this game and just got past the tutorial, which class should I use for now? And why did the game lie about dirtpatches being the only markers of nearby rooms? I just went through a cave made of ice and blocks of ice were keeping the other room away.
Use whatever class has the guns that interest you. Their guns are their most defining differences so just pick who has what you want to use and you'll learn their other roles as you play
Maybe I just got sick of it around the time of the update but I think this season just sucks. All the new mission objectives just exist solely to pad out mission length, and industrial espionage is incredibly unfun. The grenades themselves also just aren't that interesting and don't really add anything unique to a classes playstyle.
Yes, the community is receptive to new players and you get a robot companion. That being said, the game is obviously more fun if you have a party of people together.
Scout is a class that uses personal mobility to support the party by kiting mobs, quickly grabbing objectives in hard-to-reach locations, and using their powerful flare gun to keep caverns illuminated. All of these jobs are important, but they are a force multiplier for your team compared to the direct impact of something like driller's tunnels or gunner's raw firepower. As a result, a bad scout is intensely obvious and often seen as less helpful than a similarly bad player using something with a higher skill floor. It's also a lot harder to notice when a good scout saves your team several minutes completing the mission and skips a wave as a result, compared to another class clearing that wave the hard way. Support-oriented impact + low-skilled players dying constantly to fall damage = clowned on.

I think it's really boring and same gameplay loop as warframe.
post yer gunners
I'm amazed how much customization you can do in this game.
I fell through the map in my last 2 games, so no.
Works on my machine
post yer drillers
Yes
No, but it's the best one that has an active community and still gets content.
left 4 dead 1 is literally the best co-op game ever made. nothing will touch it
Sorry gramps DRG is better
That makes no sense. L4D2 is better in every way.

Is playing with randos viable? Everyone I played with thus far seems to only possess a single brain cell and prone to wandering off aimlessly.
Git gud enough for haz 4/5 and don't look back.

Just play as a gunner few missions and watch what other classes are doing.
Dirt is frozen in glacial biome.

Pick the one you like the most, or one that is not being used in the server. Promote every class at least once.
Patrician classes :
Driller
Engie
Gunner
the scout is definitely below the others. but you should not listen to Gankerners and instead just try them all and see what you like the most.
Dirt walls are what separate disconnected rooms, but pathways between connected rooms can still be blocked off by ice/stone/crystals/etc.
It almost was but whenever I start enjoying it the game asks me to particpate in one of three shitty mission types and I lose all interest.

I don't know I prefer playing solo.
wrong
Is this game fun if you don't have friends to play with?
Yes

Why does everyone meme on scout? I saw they have a gun that's just the m1 garand and she's my gunfu so I wanted to try it out

Because 90% of people don't know how to play, a good scout makes the mission far easier, no scout ca make the mission way harder.
I've had missions where most of the nitra was on the ceiling, and in the missions where we didn't have a scout we were starving for ammo.
hate these frickers like you wouldn't believe
Play one mission, and you've played the whole game.
1/10

do any anons nvidia filters in drg?
Is it just me or is Haz 4 noticeably worse to play than both Haz 3 and Haz 5?
