their next game will most likely kill it
>roguelike
>no open world
lol
lmao even
>roguelike
what?
Mihoyo's next game, Zenless Zero or whatever the frick its called is apparently a roguelike gacha. theres some trailers out now and it looks interesting, but there isnt enough information on it yet to judge the quality and how it would work
Are there roguelike gacha? Sounds fun
Yes. Normies are eating up this game to this day, blowing their savings for copy-pasted models with different hairstyles
Hopefully it means is the gachakiller
Also
Amber is best girl
If genshin was capable of killing itself it wouldve done so by now. Even after mihoyo has stopped giving a shit and 99% of the game is filler story content people will still throw money at it like there's no tomorrow
>and 99% of the game is filler story content
you aren't making any sense
what the FRICK is filler story content? chasm? the summer islands with a frickton of story and gameplay? sumeru?
There's filler patches and content patches, ask yourself if each patch is closer to Dragonspine or the first latern rite before they realized we wanted to interact with playable characters
neither of those are filler
Not him but I assume filler content is basically any event that features recycled gameplay and doesn't include custom assets or a unique reward.
Nothing of substance happens, it has no baring on anything, is there not a single episode of Naruto that's filler because something happens in all of them? You don't know what filler is
Honestly I just to explore and have some comfy fun, anon. I like when the story progresses but I don't need it to happened every update. Events that involve fleshing out the world more are fine too.
>Honestly I just to explore
oooooo youre a esl. oooookay now your ramblings make sense. youre merely low iq. thanks for bumping my thread i guess...
>chasm
90% filler dialogue
>summer islands
pointless backstories and 90% filler content
>sumeru
Espada and Organization XIII ripoff
Play a game you actually enjoy, moron.
It's not like it's influencing the industry for anything but gacha developers, anon.
>Is it another WoW scenario where only the game can kill itself?
yes
They got away with that anniversary and the game being an endless artifact grind where you can go a whole month making zero progress. They're safe for a long time. Genshin players are like dbz fans. You can LITERALLY shit in their mouth and they will aggressively defend it. Every gacha game community stays well away from genshin players cos they genuinely are a mindless swarm.
>png collectors are still seething after years
God I can't wait for Anniversary 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Gacha games are generally pretty bad but Genshin is the bottom of the barrel in a lot of aspects. But it's just good enough for the casual crowd to eat it up and pour hours into a game that actively does not want you playing it for more then 15 minutes else it just falls apart.
It'll be dead before it ever reaches it's final story arc, games bleed it playerbase anyways and as Genshin continues to be updated it going to be harder and harder to catch up with veteran players, especially considering level gates and it's terrible grinding.
Genshin will probably slowly bleed out rather than be killed, it's already doing so.
you obviously didnt try genshin, genshin is a wonderful game. depression got to you guys years ago and its sad to see you still post these posts as if you are passionate for something else and look down on genshin. when the truth is you are just a hollow spiteful person
Mate, I play both Genshin and Fate/Grand Order and before both I was playing Fire Emblem Heroes, I'm very passionate when it comes to video games but Genshin is just a real mess.
Literally, I've tried time and time again to get into Genshin Impact, through grinding for artifacts and such. It's grind is horrendous, especially considering the kind of game Genshin is.
>genshin le bad!
>immediately talks about the grindy "endgame"
>the whole game is bad because the optional stuff at the end is not fun
LMAO
nier automata is bad because it's hard to get to level 99 with maxed out chips
you were right. i stopped reading any reply by those loser morons who use reaction images. i doubly dont read depression reaction images.
read their replies once, and its the same everytime. cry cry look at me. im actually a sad anime girl image. pay attention to me bs over and over
>fetch quests
>corridor dungeons
>predictable as frick bosses
>go here and kill enemies x 10
>genetic as frick story
>Fun
>lots to do
>fun combat
>big open world
>god tier music and visuals
only fun thing about combat is the element mixing and whatever the artifacts allow you to do.
Not exactly a gold standard when Honkai is right beside Genshin and has combat that has a lot more going on in it.
Characters unique skills are cool but all it's ever going to boil down to is who can sub-dps/apply the element another character can create a reaction with.
Lots to do usually is overworld puzzles that can either be ass easy or nonsensically convoluted, if they're copying off of BotW's notes they're nothing taking the right notches. Worst BotW gets is the Koroks.
Open world is expansive until you reach Inazuma, then some islands will just be hazardous and unruly to explore until you do a miscellaneous, or just does not let you enter it at all in the case of Tsubame Island
There is no freedom in honkai, the combat is boring as hell.
boiling any game down to simple descriptions makes them all not sound fun at all
>Plays Fate
Alright then, that's all I needed to hear from you.
>as Genshin continues to be updated it going to be harder and harder to catch up with veteran players
I've known people who started playing since 2.2 and are doing just fine. New players will ofc struggle at first but there are ways for newbies to "catch up" without spending money or just buying the welkin blessing/BP. Also veterans are willing to help newbies in domains.
I don't think assistance should even be needed to start grinding artifacts, even though the grinding to do so is tedious, more so then grinding in other gachas.
The state of Genshin as it is now, is not really a true testament to how it will be later. Of course players can catch up know if they pour time but cracks are already showing of how the gap will get much wider as time passes if Mihoyo does nothing to patch up the issues.
Like Fragile Resin or Domain Grinding which is only really efficient when you have a certain collection of 5 stars like Venti or Kazuha, or you bring a friend, which should be unnecessary to begin with since it is an optional feature of Genshin at the end of the day.
"""""catch up"""" is literally meaningless in a game where you can turn down the world level, there is no pvp either. So there is absolutely 0 point in try hard-ing every event or new update, it's good enough for casuals simply because of that.
But do see
, you've been on Ganker for way too long
It's not the bottom of the barrel because dblegends exists. But it's still pretty low.
>bleeding player
>guy who plays game later finishes games later than guy who plays game early
whoa........ no way......
If something does come out and takes its place I think that won't happen until genshin is already close to "being done" with 1 or 2 regions yet to be released
Is this the daily seething thread?
