Not really a fan of capeshit but my brother suggested I try it, so I did and was having fun with it, then they started introducing the investigation / stealth missions with that women and it fricked the flow and pacing and I lost interest.
Pretty sure they only shoehorned those bits in for ESG feminist ratings, they're incredibly out of place and really do mess up the pacing of the game. If they needed stealth missions why wouldn't they just let us use Spiderman, stealth is one of his capabilities.
Sucks that the Remastered version either didn't let you just skip them, or just turned them into a cutscene as an option. They add nothing to the game other than being a little story beat.
It is very fun, definitely the best Spider-Man game you can get.
People b***h about the MJ/Miles stealth missions but they don't take too long to get through
Old games are just straight up better than 90% of any modern titles. That's an objective fact.
Black Flag > New ACs
Spider Man > Nu Spider
God of War > God of War (Wifes son edition)
Devil May Cry > Devil May Cry (Pull my devil Black person)
Resident Evil 1 > Resident Evil 5-6-7-8-...
Final Fantasy 1-10 > Final Fantasy 12+
WoW upto MoP > Post MoP
Fricking FIFA 98 > Nu FIFA
I could go on. That's not even nostalgia speaking, since I haven't played a lot of those games when I was young. Only over the past few years.
Not to mention all the DLC and Micro Transactions going on
Not disagreeing with you. PlayStation backwards compatibility is just fricking horrendous and I'm not going to acquire a million gizmo's just to play the classics.
I have a PS2 and not one display of mine supports RCA.
>A million gizmos >Literally one single cheap adapter
Besides, emulation works perfectly out of the box. If you have a DVD drive, you can even use your physical copies. Otherwise you can just download the iso and start. If you don't have a controller in this day and age, you could techically also use your keyboard.
Emu tweaking is only neccessary if you want 4k, 144fps with modded textures.
It's easier to emulate a game than to play newer games.
>Get emulator >Get game >Start playing

Maybe. >Servers are down >Single player game can't be played >Wait for servers >Start playing at last >BUY THIS 800% VALUE PACK FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY! >Buy it like a good little zoomer paypig >Game crashes because it was coded by 3 monkeys on a treadmill using 1920s typewriters without ink
you forgot having to look up the pcgaming wiki to look up what kind of arcade dgvoodoo patches are needed to fix it.
90% of the time i would rather just fire up pcsx2 and be done with it
Yes, it's a very by-the-numbers superhero game with very fun traversal, better-than-average combat and a decent story. The only really bad parts are the MJ stealth missions, fortunately there's only like 4 of them and they aren't very long.
Honestly I finished it like 3 or 4 times and I still sometimes boot it up just to swing around, like I used to with the PS2 Spider-Man 2 game.
The crackdown franchise was an afterthought after the 1st game and will die in obscurity, I have long accepted that brother. My only hope is that maybe Uncle Phill will demand a remaster in the future.
>Is it worth buying and playing?
Right now? No. Wait for the the PC release in August. Even if your PC is shit, it'll at least lower the price for PS4/5 versions.
As for the game qualities itself, it's definitely up there with USM. It has some stronger points, like combat and writing, and some weaker, like "stealth" missions or writing in DLCs, but overall it is one of the best Spidey games, although I wouldn't put it above WoS or 2000.

That would be Spiderman 2 on the ps2
If I need an adapter/emulator to play it on modern hardware it's not worth considering
Typical zoomer smallbrain mindset

no it's shattered dimensions for the wii
If you liked ultimate Spider-Man you’ll def like this one the web swinging is so fricking satisfying

Boring game. Spider-man 2 (PS2) and Spider-Man (PS1) are the only good capeshit games.
So you haven't played The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction
You're right. I remember watching my friend play it as a kid though now you mention it and it looked good.
It's not that good. They nerfed the graphics and the characters are bland
Its a good 9 out of 10
>can't just comfy swing for hours because the city starts to upgrade its defences and attack you
Only downside tbh
Will buy day one
1 (you) for crackdown chad
Why did Crackdown 2 have to be so fricking bad, it still hurts bros

Dunno, I suggest waiting for the PC port and giving it a pirate because all Snoy ports have been shit so far.
The only good thing about it is swinging through the city and it gets stale eventually. I'd recommend waiting and pirating it on PC.
>Is it worth buying and playing?
>I like ultimate spider man
If you're expecting another USM this isn't the game.
